Im pretty sure I speak for everyone here in that its nice to see so many new and excited fans joining us. As Kings fans in general we are recognized around the league as being some of the most passionate fans in the NBA, and some of the BEST!

I get the impression that its not only us Israelis that are excited about Casspi and the Kings for the coming season.
I feel some careful optimism here among people, that the Kings just might be on the right track to being a successful franchise once again.
I really gotta hand it to all you guys.
Real fans are measured by the way they act during the tough times.

Well yeah, Casspi is what you call a "home player", he grew up in Maccabi's youth divisions and a lot of us really followed him since he was young. Add to that the fact that he's actually the first Israeli player to be drafted in the first round, and you get a bunch of excited Israeli fans.
And I don't know about other guys, but I personally have a special spot in my heart for the Kings, since J-Will is no doubt my all time favorite NBA point guard.

first of all:
we support you! and very appreciate the franchise courage to pick Caspi although he's not familiar to the average american guy (or girl) and he's not from spain
I know most of you remember the era of Mike Bibby (after the move of J-dub to Vancouver) as the golden age in last years for The Kings (with the western conference Finals).
however, I think most Israelies love Sacramento for the good time J-Will gave us in his rookie season.. I was like 12 years old and I remember most of the kids who played basketball in school tried to mimic his spectacular passes funny period.. it was also thr time when kobe initiated as a star to the league (so the kids were divided)
I was very excited by the team game the Kings had with Divac', J-Dub, Webber and Peja.. I think J-Will flash and the European players made Sacramento a cherish franchise worldwide..
about Caspi, his main advantage it's his nature, he's a passionate player, that's his main character, I mean, he brings heat and his heart to the game, he will always fight even if it's done and the other team is up by 30 points.
I hope he'll get the chance to play even though he's rookie, very young and unfamiliar, if he'll prove himself as legitimate NBA player I'll be more than happy (he's got whole Israel behind his back)
I don't know if you know but Maccabi is a basketball club that don't accept fall (48 Israeli Championships and 5 European Championships) and top Euroleague teams budgets are 2-3 times bigger than Maccabi's.. so I'll hope Caspi will bring that winning anergy to the Kings.

If it works (and of course it will) we've the foundings of a great team!
