Just tell me that he will be better than Malachi Richardson
Big difference was Nique’s shot has been more consistent over time than Colby’s ever really was.Reminds me of Colby Jones. Hopefully he can put it together better than Colby did.
Clifford, The Big Purple Dawg
And of course, here's what our resident expert Bajaden had to say...Players that I would target in the 20's if the Kings acquire a pick. In the order I would target them.
1. Rasheer Fleming: Love his game. The God's would be smiling upon us if we were able to walk away with him.
2. Nique Clifford: Jack of all trades. Can play multiple positions. He can shoot, pass, rebound and defend.
3. Liam McNeeley: Another good 3 pt shooter. Played decent to good defense. Had a good freshman year overall.
4. Egor Demin: A PG in a SF's body. Terrific passer. Needs to improve his jumpshot, but has huge upside.
5. Maxime Raynaud: Good shotblocker, rebounder, and shot just under 35% from three on over 5 a game.
I realize that some of these players, maybe all of them could be gone before the 20th pick, but I'd be surprised if one or two of the don't slide down a bit.
Didn't our resident expert also predict that we may end up trading up into the first round, *cough* *cough*, with OKC??? I swear I read that somewhere at some point!!!And of course, here's what our resident expert Bajaden had to say...
(Though, yes, Fleming was - and still is - on the board)

I think he can guard SF, but I only saw him in three games. He's going to be a good team/help defender for sure.By multiple positions l, does Baja mean guard and guard? Because according to some, there's NO chance he can possibly be a wing
Yup! Found it, and quoted it in the "Mock Draft" thread (but only because I have yet to figure out how the heck to copy posts into another thread so that I can quote it/reply to it in my post).Didn't our resident expert also predict that we may end up trading up into the first round, *cough* *cough*, with OKC??? Can we swap them in for the starters?Carter, ellis, and Nique is a good bench with defense and athleticism
Highlights are usually misleading, thus I would love to hear from our prospect gurus to shed some light on this pick. His pros and cons?
If Bajaden approves, we're good. That Fleming guy looks intriguing too.And of course, here's what our resident expert Bajaden had to say...

I'd offer up the Charlotte 26 2nd + Kings 26 2nds + 42 if that's what it took.Any chance we can package #42 and cash (or future SRP) to move up and get Fleming too? He looks like a great fit for our frontcourt.
As mentioned, this feels like a Monte pick. I wonder if Phil Jabour is a heavier influence than we might know.
NBA draft bylaw 3.7a: any player age 22 or older is finished developing and has little to no room for improvement. Why are some places I'm reading saying that the con is that he's an older player? I just looked up his info on two sites and it said he was only 23? I expected him to be in his low 30s the way they kept talking about his age. In way of comparison, LeBron James is 40 years old for god sakes. What am I missing? Why is 23 old?
