2.1 steals, 1.7 blocks, CUSA POY/DPOY in 2024. That’ll work. https://t.co/15zaGiXqTr

Honestly not surprising considering the statistical profile of Devin Carter he is very much in the Monte Mold of basically every other draft pick he's made stl and blk total >4% and 3pt% > 36%:

His stats at Providence last year:

Monte has a type and that type is dudes with insane defensive stats haha
I feel like Monte and Mike have always been aligned. Even in the first beam team year, Huerter was exactly the type of guy Mike needed to run the Warriors style offense he was bringing over and Monte still brought in KZ and Moneke as defensive role player guys for Mike to try out.Maybe we are seeing Monte and Brown becoming aligned on what the team needs...and thats a good thing
Isaiah Crawford was a clear first round talent in my eyes.

At 6’6” with a 7’1” wingspan the versatile wing averaged 16 points per game while shooting over 40% from behind the arc over the last two seasons.
He averaged 2.1 steals and 1.7 blocks this season showcasing his elite…

Well, I guess it's a good thing that YouTubeTV recorded *every* college basketball game for me, because I didn't watch a second of Louisiana Tech this year. Yet.
He kinda resembles Jerami Grant
Love the Kings getting Isaiah Crawford and Isaac Jones as UDFAs—think Crawford in particular has a great chance to make the roster as a lengthy do-everything type of wing.

really unaccustomed to people actually like a Kings GM’s draft selections lol
I think one of the things about Keon panning out like he did is that there are probably agents who are legitimately trying to get their unpolished 3-and-D guy into the Kings development system. Mike Brown’s rep with defensive role players and Keon blossoming after grinding in the G-League is a really good sales pitch. From what little I've seen, he looks like he'd have just as good a chance to make an impact as Keon Ellis has. You never know, but he has some tools
Kings SL with Devin Carter and Isaiah Crawford going to suck for opposing teams https://t.co/0zJfNqIIlt

My favorite sleeper prospect for the Bucks today is Isaiah Crawford from Louisiana Tech.

6'6 wing with 7'0 wingspan.. averaged 2.1 steals & 1.7 blocks last season -- 2nd college player since 2011 to average that in a season (Thybulle). Offensively plays like a poor man's Khris. pic.twitter.com/PvWulQGuTe

Some things are only possible when you actually extend your coach for once hahaNice, The Kings doing Miami Heat style things![]()
If no one is willing to trade for the type of players the team needs now, may as well develop their own in the meantime.Nice, The Kings doing Miami Heat style things![]()
That’s a Killer SL lineup!Roll out a
Slawson
Crawford
Colby
Carter
Mason Jones lineup
in summer league, switch absolutely everything on every single possession, and embrace defensive chaos all the way to the summer league chip.

I'd have liked Keshad Johnson off this list, looks like he signed a 2-way with Miami so assuming also went undrafted.Honestly not surprising considering the statistical profile of Devin Carter he is very much in the Monte Mold of basically every other draft pick he's made stl and blk total >4% and 3pt% > 36%:
