DDV didn’t shoot well today but the fact that he didn’t give up easy lay-ups on the other end makes it easily digestible. That guy is quick
I’d argue that it’s already in the upper half at the very least with DDV/Mitchell defense and Fox scoring abilityThis could be a trade that works out for both teams. No doubt Marv is going to put up some numbers in Detroit and they can let the market play out before matching any offers. The Kings get a possible starter out of the deal. FOX Mitchell DDV and Davis has the potential to be one of the better backcourts in the league if everything works out.
Works for me.Jay Wright next Kings coach confirmed.
It was probably agreed in principle or the framework of the deal was.I wonder if Monte knew he was going to get DDV, which is why he felt comfortable trading Hali. Probably made it a lot easier to pull the trigger on the bigger trade, even though the Marv/DDV trade wasn’t announced until the next day.

Well, if you only want to score 60 points a game.Man, Mitchell and DDV would make for an insane starting duo.

They'll hold the opposition into the 50s.Well, if you only want to score 60 points a game.
Let's see if they can cool off the ultra hot DeRozan coming up next.
We have the backcourt set with Fox, DDV, Mitchell and Davis. We have a nice frontcourt with Sabonis at Center and HB at Power Forward. We have some depth at the wing now, but we still need that high level full sized wing to make this squad a legitimate deep playoff contender.
I'm hoping Monte is able to pluck a nice full size wing out of this upcoming draft with a pick likely to be in #10-16 range. Or Monte can trade Holmes in the off season for that missing piece. I still see the Kings a legitimate high level wing away from really competing for a deep playoff run next season.
