I'm excited to see if he can continue here what he started in Houston defensively. He might not be the shot blocker but he is the offense adjuster.

I actually like this signing now. He won't have the same impact as Dally on the court, and I wish we had a shotblocker next to Cousins, but Hayes is a solid player. He brings a lot of veteran leadership, is very smart and professional. This interview from a day or two ago is really worth a watch:



I really believe Chuck can have a big impact on our young guys, particularly DeMarcus, who will also benefit from playing against him every day. He's already one of my favourite Kings - when is the last time we had a player who exhibited such leadership and class?

Hes got a good head on his shoulders. You can tell alot about what kind of person he is from that interview. Its good to have some maturity on the team. He's going to be a great role model. i take back all my midget jokes.
 
People forget that he was the Houston Rockets captain last year. We've brought in definite leadership with this move.
