Webber on the way to Lottery

I just went outside, and hopped around in a counterclockwise direction on one foot while chanting. (The exact verbage of the chant is a closely held secret.) I then spit in the direction of New York and burned a toilet paper roll holder effigy of Robert Horry as a tribute to the great god Naismith.

As long as no one else does anything stupid, we're okay...

I'm at work and that had me laughing, VF. Funny thing is, I could actually picture you doing that!

Maybe you should have gone clockwise??

Sorry about the results....really.

I know you mean that too...thanks for the sympathy Hoopsie.:)

edit: ...and we ALWAYS can use some good ole' fashion sympathy in times like these in Sacramento.

edit #2: and I know you're happy tonight beings the Lakers came back against the Nuggs. I'm expecting at least 6 games in the series, the Nuggs are a pretty complete team...although I think you guys will probably pull it out due to the Kobe factor.

Uh oh. I just checked my top secret manual on arcane rituals. You might be right...

On the other hand, someone may have just found two unicorns and a flying platypus in their bathtub.

thats what i was trying to say earlier! :p bet webbers restaurant was trashed after the lottery

so many angry fans hehe

I don't know if you're being partially serious or not, but I think you might have the wrong idea about Kings fans. They wouldn't trash a restaurant, and even if they would it wouldn't be over something like this...

I'm reasonably sure most fans understand that Chris Webber didn't actually influence the selection.

I'm glad we sent Webb and I was very glad to hear his comments about the Maloofs and the Kings organization. There was a time not so very long ago when I didn't think I'd ever hear either the Maloofs or Webb say a kind word about the other...

I dont blame Webb for us getting the worst possible pick we could...it wasnt his fault.:) And anyone that DOES blame him for it obviously reads Ailene Poison everyday.

Has to be a fairly sucky position to be in, carrying a franchise's hopes on your shoulders, having everybody say "go get us the #1" etc., and you can't do a damn thing to influence events except sit there and take your medicine.

Hey, at least he looked good. The guy from the Clippers looked like a refugee from one of the "Night of the Living Dead" movies.

;)

i know my bad.. but im sure a lot of fans are disappointed with the results.

honestly, i don't care that they are getting griffin. Its easy to throw down on a bunch of weaker people in college, its another thing to try against the likes of Dwight howard and what not. I don't think he will be much in the nba. I'm just mad about losing out in rubio.
