webb to detroit

I am certainly not blaming the loss entirely on the officiating. I am saying it was a contributing factor, along with the missed free throws, and the sloppy play. I may have a lot to learn about the game of basketball, but I am that ignorant.

Webber gave us all a little scare tonight when he got his eye gouged by Dwight Howard in the first quarter, and he had to go straight to the locker room.

It was announced that he wouldn't come back, but he asked to come back anyway with his left eye half-open and went 8/10 from the floor for 18 points 3 boards and 3 assists in only 20 minutes.

Pistons now 13-3 with Webber starting.

He's got the heart of warrior, Kstat. I used to call him our Warrior King. Now he's yours. Enjoy watching someone who truly loves the game.

Way to go, Webb! I wish I had LP :(

It was a beautiful sight to see. No pun intended. He truly was a beast tonight. That gorgeous pass to Sheed. That dunk. The wild shot that just goes in. That smile!!! It was C-Webb.

Oh great, now I can't drink my morning coffee 'til I get rid of the lump in my throat. :(

oh the passing, the shots, the smile... so many good memories.

gotta go, I need to check when Detroit will be on national tv again... or I need to just suck it up and buy LP

LP is not that expensive now. We always get it and never regret it. Every Detroit game, every Sac game!! Sooooo worth it!! I have to be honest and say we don't watch very many other games. It would be great to be able to get team rates but oh well.

C-Webb smile!!

Webber had a sub-par game last night, but in all fairness he had to guard Dwight Howard for the second time in 3 nights, and Dwight brought his A game this time around. Thankfully, we have Dale Davis for those times when Webber is getting pushed around inside.

One thing I did notice though, is even when he's not hitting his shots, big men still routinely fall for his pump-fake, and I don't even think they know why they're jumping. He got Howard in the air several times under the hoop to get to the line, and I don't even think Howard would have needed to jump at all to block him.

14-3 now with Webber starting, looking forward to seeing him play against Ben Wallace tomorrow afternoon.

I love you C-Webb.

21 points, 9 boards, 3 steals and the game-winning put-back over Ben Wallace with 2 seconds left.

15-3 now with Webber starting.

I think it's obvious Chris can't play anymore  ...

Not for his old contract anyways. But at what he's being paid now? Absolute robbery.

He's playing center, and with the weakness of the center postion, it's not far off to call him a top 10 Center in the league. Imagine that, an over-the-hill Webb still top 10?

I'm so happy for him.

According to Flip, Webber was sick today too and a gametime decision. He was throwing up over the locker room floor.

Does anyone have the video of Webbers return to Sacramento (the one when he was with Philly) Where he got the intro and standing ovation? I would like to see it because I haven't had a chance. I searched YouTube but couldn't find it.

He made their winning shot yesterday. Granted some are saying he pushed off, but....oh well. Ref's didn't see it, it didn't happen. Once again he played a great game.
