As the title, CWebb is not playing, Peja is not playing, who can play this good in this league with first and second best scorers absent?

the sonics have a deep bench anyways..

the kings were without mike (32 mins) and brad (31 mins) for the most part because of foul trouble, too.. and mobley had to wrap his groin.. we are definitely banged up tonight.. it's really amazing how mike and brad got limited to 32 mins because of foul trouble! boy the refs picked a great time to take away brad and mike.. so basically we had 1 starter out there a long with 4 bench people most of the night.. :|
 
I'm just thankful the Kings played so hard. Its not just the loss of their starters (Webber and Peja) but also w/o two of their most energetic bench players (Evans and Jackson). Considering that - the Kings really played ball tonight. Seattle better be scared when the Kings come to visit this month - Allen or no Allen.
 
i was upset...but the kings did a good job...just didnt have it tonight...but what surpised me..is how well house played tonight
 
It was a good game.

Have to give the Sonics credit for being down a star player also. They shut down Mobley and Miller gotta give them credit for that.
 
Mobley is shut down by a strained groin. the ONLY reason he is playing is because MO in on IL and can't play for at least 5 games tonight be his 5th. Plus Peja and Webb being out kings narrows our bench down. expect Mobley to miss a few when Peja comes back.

I thought the TEAM hung in there and should of won the game.Cuttino mobley made a terrible play down the end with that one on one dribbling in one spot jump shot that was short.I think he could have found bibby or made one at least on extra pass.But what he did was a typical cuttino mobley/steve francis type of play which was not kings basketball.It was not a good shot and I think it was a very selfish play.But he will learn and catch on in time.

He still had 18 pts and 5 assists.

Imgaine if he could move his leg without extreme pain. Evans is on the IL with the same injury and we know how tough he is. If this team is healthy come playoff time. Look Out anybody who gets in our way.

i remember at one point i completely forgot we even had Mobley to offer up cuz he seemed so quiet in the game
 
All losses are tough to swallow, but this was a great confidence builder game for our bench guys. Consider this: they scored 54 out of our 101 points! That's not bad for the "no bench" crew. Songaila's been playing great, and so has Matt being inserted in the starting 5. Eddie House came to play today and Kevin Martin was confident in his jumper. Even Bradley and Tag made some contributions in limited minutes. I think that's all we could ask for from them, is to step up whenever we need them and I think they did that tonight, even though the outcome was a loss. I always hate to see injuries and would prefer not to have them, but it's always good to see when the other guys step up given the opportunity. I have no problem with this loss, we'll get them back next time, hopefully with a full team.
 
Why no free throws in 4th quarter?

The refs were calling a tight game. The Sonics were in the penalty with over 6 minutes left in the 4th quarter. Why weren't the Kings trying to drive to the basket and take advantage of the Sonics being in the penalty? They kept tossing up bricks from outside and no one rebounded. This is what I hate about Adelman. The coaches should have tried to get the team to score from the F/T line with the clock stopped. Especially since no one could hit from outside. It was so plain to see, why can't Adelman see it?

Yeah, great effort by our bench. We're gonna be (even more) amazing when Webb, Peja, Bjax, and Evans come back.
 
In the 4th, with 10 min.+ left on the clock we had Sea. in the penaty and did'nt take advantage of it. not enough FT attempts and some bad shot selections. Tomorrow another game,1 game at a time.

that is SO FUNNY...cuz when he went to the line and missed that second one i said the exact same thing
