That was the lit-est press conference of all time!

Disappointed how the word is the Kim Mulkey "hit piece" is mild as hell and won't put her job in jeopardy. Was planning on having myself a nice little morning while reading about her downfall. Was about to go buy a breakfast croissant and everything

The way Mulkey reacted when she found out they were doing a piece on her, and then reading the very mundane, innocuous piece with no new real info, makes one wonder: what the hell was she afraid they found out

I only did a training camp and 2 preseason games so ntm on me, but Jewell Loyd was my partner in a close out drill and it was the worst experience of my life. https://t.co/BssbbW0Plm

Well, it makes sense in context, but...A combination of strength and grace, the Golden State Valkyries are writing the next chapter in the epic tale of the WNBA. pic.twitter.com/25NVgnBmU6

well this name is certainly a choice
Unfortunately, for her and the WNBA, her regular season debut happens to fall on the same day, and at the same time as the Pacers game. Oh, and not to mention...NHL playoffs are on.
What a debut.
You also have to wonder how many of her 10 TOs were due to some degree of nerves playing in her first professional game. She'll be able to get those under control in due time, I think.Clark didn’t play particularly well but the formula for big success is there: deep range threes, elite passing and getting to the free throw line. 10 turnovers is bonkers. She’s always good for a couple lazy passes but expect her to get the TOs under control when she develops more chemistry with teammates. Excited for her home debut

On another note...I am not liking that DNP for my former Stanford gal, Lexie (Hull). Here's to hoping she's able to move up a bit on that depth chart as the season progresses so she sees some action...![]()
That's great, but why not the Monarchs?@pdxKingsFan, are you ready?
Link to ESPN.com Article: WNBA expands to Portland, with team to begin play in 2026
I would imagine Sacramento would be a candidate for future expansion, as long as an ownership group comes forward and shows enough interest in bringing a team back to the area. That's great, but why not the Monarchs?
Because Ranadivé is all talk. That's great, but why not the Monarchs?
