He had one good season because he was playing for a contract extention!

That contract spells he's a star. When you think about that contract what he can't do becomes more important. He can't create his own offense, underperforms when he isn't used enough on offense despite his own limitations, not bulky enough to be a traditional 4 and not enough range for a 3, and while solid not a tremendous rebounder. Eurobasket may have raised it a little but after a bad year and now complaining his value isn't but so high.

AK's bad year is attributed to his changed role, not his ability. The key is not that he had a bad year, the key is Utah still thinks the world of him. Not to mention several other teams want him as well. You want AK, I garantee you Utah will ask for the moon and then some.

I'm saying, is Ak would be terrific next to Artest. We give up Brad, who isnt an Allstar as well but is on the same level as a Super Role Player that of Ak is imo.

The reality is Utah wont get any Allstar caliber player for AK unless they do deal Milsap in any deal involving AK imo.

Seriously speaking, I do not believe that Andrei will be traded ... He has a serious big contract and he had some injuries in the past plus Utah needs an athletic forward and Kirilenko is an ideal candidate for them. Both Boozer and Okur need a stopper behind their backs. One more plus - Kirilenko has a market value because he is the most popular player in Russia (which is a big market now) and some other Eastern European countries like Ukraine. So, I will be really surprised to see Andrei traded. Sure, we do not know how unhappy Kirilenko really is and everything is possible in this world but as I said, I do not believe in it.

Ok and when you look at, when players "demand" trades, their value is dropped. So Utah cant be looking to get something in fair value(whichin this deal is).
