[Trade] Warriors have obvious Jonathan Kuminga trade demand after latest Kings reports

I can see Orlando wanting to bring in Malik Monk. They need more playmakers and floor spacers and are probably ready to move Jonathan Isaac at this point who has fallen out of their rotation and might be a fit in Golden State. Orlando and Sacramento need to throw in more to match salaries. So maybe something like this?

Tyus Jones (ORL) and Jonathan Isaac (ORL) to GSW = 22M
Jonathan Kuminga (GSW) to SAC = 22.5M
Malik Monk (SAC) and Drew Eubanks (SAC) to ORL = 21.1M

Westbrook and McDermott have the same salary as Eubanks and all three contracts expire at the end of the year so Orlando could take their pick of which vet they want to rent short-term. Tyus Jones is also expiring at the end of the year so Golden State would be saving $7.5 million off next year's cap though they would be committing to Isaac for three more years (sortof). Only half of Isaac's contract is guaranteed for next season unless he plays 52 or more games this season and the next two years are fully non-guaranteed unless that same games played threshold is reached the previous season.

Jalen Suggs is injured rather often. He has only played 23 of 38 games this season, and a total of 35 last year. In fact, he has played more than 45 games in only one season out of four thus far. Monk is a better three-point shooter. Orlando overall needs floor spacing. They are about tied in 3P% with the Kings, at 24th and 25th.

I think the Kings want to hold on to Westbrook as their starting point guard and floor leader.

Unless a hungry team that thinks he can help them go on a deep run offers us a FRP I think he'll finish the year here. I think he's proven he can still play and might be able to chase his career stats here (not saying that's good for us) and then sign one final deal with a contender next season.

I read the Nets want 2 FRPs for Porter. I;m not a huge MPJ fan but I still think this is way too good for GS. Seems like the Nets could do better.

They said the same thing for Cam Johnson. I’m guessing they would take a first from Golden State and 2 seconds from us. Of course if I was the Nets I’d probably just take Kuminga and a first instead of Monk, a first and 2 seconds.

I don't get his MPU is worth two picks when it took a 1st round pick to get Cam Johnson for him, also while on paper an excellent pick I think Draymond would attack/punch him before they get to the play in games.

I think the Nets are looking to get off MPJ as soon as possible. He's been too good and that team is starting to win too many games for what they're trying to do. Now 4.5 games "up" on the Kings for a bottom 3 seed and 2 "up" on WAS for the 4th

I think the Carter & Saric offer was a strategic ploy, hoping the dubs negotiators would make critical mistakes from a lack of oxygen after laughing so hard...
