wow, that was a really good one...better than 5, imo....

i figured from the beginning that snape was actually bad, and i had inklings as to who was the half-blood prince

im pretty sure i know who R.A.B. is, but i dunno if people want THAT spoiled ....let me know

i had a feeling dumbeldore was going to die the whole hand thing had me thinking, and i knew someone would die. i still wonder what happened to his hand. and poor bill!!!!

and please spoil me on who RAB is. i kinda sped read through this one, i'll re read it a few times, but for now i want to know.

I just want to know why Dumbledore trusted Snape so much. And if Dumbledore is really dead...he is one of the greatest right? wouldn't he have been able to do something??

anyways, what i think is snape HAD to kill dumbledore because of that vow he took to help malfoy....i personallly think snape is bad and he would have done it anyway, but a friend of mine is convinced he is still good and will ruin the voldemort in the 7th book, so he couldnt blow his cover by not killing dumbledore, anyway.....am i alone about snape sucking?

I still believe that there is more to Snape that what we all think....Dumbledore would not just put all his trust in him for no reason. I also have a suspicion about who RAB is...but I don't want to say and ruin it for anyone else....who knows, I could be wrong anyway. I actually cried like a baby when Dumbledore died because he was such a beloved character and such a role model for Harry, but I suppose it was what had to happen for the story to progress and for Harry to stand on his own to face, he-who-shall-not-be-named. Anyway, I can't wait for the last book, because I have no doubt that it will be the best one...I will thoroughly enjoy watching all the pieces of the story all coming together.

personally i was suprised when snape killed dumbeldore becuase i always thought he must've had a really good reason to trust him so much (which he probably did we just don't know it yet) but i still think maybe there's some good in him that we will see later on. Also I think aunt petunia will have a bigger role in the next book because of hints I picked up on in the last couple ones. but otherwise I am totally clueless to what happens next so anyone with theories please share them!

what do you all think about the remaining horcruxes? I personally think Harry might be one himself...but that would be a bit too far wouldn't it?

I don't think Harry for the simple fact that Voldemort didn't EXPECT Harry to live. The prophecy said that Harry or Voldemort (or more correctly the person or Voldemort) will have to die by the others hand (or something like that). The Horcruxes are created by Voldemort on purpose. From what the book says he has to create one on purpose, not on accident.

There are four left right? The diary was one and Dumbledore destroyed another. One piece of soul is in Voldemort, which leaves four. The first I think is the locket that was in Sirius' house. In OotP they found a locket they could not open. R.A.B. is probably Sirius' brother, and the locket in Sirius' house makes the most sense there. Next probably the Hufflepuff goblet. After that who knows. The ring was Slytherians, so that was probably out. That only leaves something from Ravenclaw and Griffindoor (I butchered all that spelling didn't I).

So
1) Locket in Sirius' hous
2) Goblet
3) ?
4) ?

All it all the 7th book should be FANTASTIC.

On a side note, does anyone think that maybe Dumbledore is still alive and Snape is really not evil? I think when Snape was deflecting Harry's spells in the end he was still teaching him in the last little bit he could do.

But thats just me.

well, you have to murder to create them and he did just that when he killed harry's parents. So i'm willing to bet one of the horcruxes had to have been in that house at that time. so what could it be?

and yea b13..i mentioned above that I'm not sure Dumbledore is dead. (what better way then to get your enemy to believe than have one of his own "kill" you in front of his people.

I think Dumbledore's dead. As much as I hate to think it, when JKR kills people off, they stay dead. And the freezing charm that Dumbledore used on Harry wore off when Snape killed him. I think it was important for Dumbledore to die for Harry to fully accept his destiny and to accept that inevitably, he's going to do it alone.

I wonder about Snape though. I wonder if he's really good or bad or just plays the best double agent ever.

And Malfoy, I can't wait to find out what happens with him.

i wonder if the godric gyrffindor's ( spelling) sword is a horcrux. that could be the gryfindor part of it.

i doubt theres going to be a next year at hogwarts in book 7. there'd be no time for it, the first half of the book is probably going to be dedicated to him finding and distroying the horcruxes. then the big bad show down with the big bad voldemort.

i just hope snape and draco get PUNKED by harry along the way.

i think dumbledore is deff dead, sadly, but he is still there to help in some way because of his portrait in his old office. JKR even hinted at it in the end of the 6th book...

I doubt Voldemort made a horcrux at harrys house, ii have the feeling he was done with them long before then.

I also doubt that Godric Griffindor's sword is one.....after all, it killed the book one so...i just dont see it as one. thus, i think its something ravenclaw...altho i hav no idea what it is, and im sure JKR has hinted at something ravenclaw that could be it before.

The basalisks fang was what destroyed the book, not the sword. I don't think the sword is one because it has ALWAYS been under a close watch from Dumbledore. Dumbledore says in the end of HBP that he doesn't think the sword is one because he has been watching over the sword.

I just finished reading the book! It was probably my 1st or 2nd favorite book. Goblet of Fire was GREAT also.

ANyway, Albus died thanks to Snape and I am thinking he should die the next book, but I am wondering what will happen to Draco for not killing A;bus? Snape did so that will be interesteing iin the next book. Also, it was really interesting to hear Harry will not enter Hogwarts next year for finding horcruxes and trying to kill Lord Voldemort and Snape. Ron and hermione said they will back him up no matter what which was good to read. Anohter tihng is, I think Dumbledore is gone for good but I am thinking like his words will come up from an unknown place or in Harry's head or something. A weird idea but you know anything can happen in Harry potter.

I too have a suspicion who RAB is as other people do. Since some want to know real bad I will give a hint.

I think that RAB is a relative of one of Harry's family and is very dear to Harry. That is all I will say.
