Walton Shocks Me!!!

it's doug collins who i can't stand. he obviously doesn't like the kings and his commentating is annoying. steve kerr is alright when he's not doing spurs' games. he did write that nice article about the kings after the all-star snubbing.

Doug Collins may not like the Kings but he knows the game inside and out. Will listen to him any day of the week when it involves anyone but the Kings, and before most of the fools even if it does involve us.

There's really more about an announcers competence than whether they like us or not. As in do they have a freakin' clue.

i'd hope collins would know what he's talking about being a former nba coach. his voice is what annoys me besides his obvious dislike for the kings. i like steve "snapper" jones and tom tolbert.

I've been without cable the past couple of months, so it's been awhile since i've seen a tv game with Doug Collins calling it. What has he said that would lead you guys to believe he's "anti-Kings"?

Bill Walton is a pompous, self-absorbed wind bag who is convinced he and he alone is the speaker of truth.

Yeah, tonight he said nice things about the Kings, but that doesn't change anything. Walton's like a flag - he drifts with the wind. If the Kings hadn't been blowing the Cavs out of the arena, it would have been all about the "next Michael Jordan," and the "young phenom LeBron," etc. ad nauseum.

I despite, destest and totally abhor Bill Walton. Always have and always will and a few kind words tossed like crumbs are not going to change my mind.

I spit on Bill Walton.

;)

C'mon, 21. Don't hold back. Got somethin' to say, g'on head and say it.

Walton has been as bad as people think he is.....

If you listened to him in the past several years on any consistent basis, particularly when doing Kings games, you would know he is or has been as bad as many of us have said over the years. He HAS NOT liked the kings in the past and on air has obviously favored Kings opponents most if not all the time...... until last night. We were at our favorite watering hole from late 2nd on and even the Surf City crowd (not Kings fans for the most part) even were exclaiming how "nice" Walton was to the Kings. Sorry, but one game doesn't see a leopard change his spots. But I'll give him one.

Very true. Collins is very good. Except when hes doing Timberwolve games. He cant stop gushing about Garnett. He needs to get a freakin room and shutup already.

I don't get to see BW very often but he seems to be very wishy washy to me. His fav. team is whoever's winning and then they're the greatest team to have ever played the game. Barkley however I do like, he's hysterical espec. when he and Kenny disagree. They definitely have a chemistry together and they crack me up. I may have strange sense of humor but you gotta admit some of their pics. are funny when they crack on each other and EJ.

Oh, and I always loved Snapper calling Walton on all of his blatantly idiotic comments, much like Tolbert does now.

Walton: "Robert Horry, one of the greatest defensive players in the history of the NBA"..

Tolbert: "He's not even the best defensive player in this game!"

Did you hear Walton just now during a promo for the Mavs/Cleveland Game - "Sacramento is a much better team without Chris Webber."
