Vegas Summer League-KINGS-HORNETS

I like what I hear about both Williams and Amundson, so far. Hoperfully we'll get more of a look at both guys in training camp.

Why are they giving all the minutes to K-Mart and Artest?

Those minutes should go to the guys who need time to try to get a spot on the team...So what if the Kings win a summer league game...

My guess is they are two fall starters and coaches want to see how others work with them and they work with the wannabes. If Kevin and Ron start plus Bibby and Brad that leaves the 4 for SAR and a newby or two, eh?

I'd pick both. We could have the frontcourt of the future waiting in the wings

Man, this is sure different than last years camp. We have some very nice young players! I think in the end, they both make it.

So I guess Jason Hart didn't want any part of it? :)

He was at the Long Beach Summer Pro League leading a scrub team after the Lakers-Grizz matchup.

Well I can't imagine Jason "chopped liver" Hart is real happy about where he sits with the Kings. Besides big men, the next most talked about thing for the Kings is how much we really need a back-up point guard.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if Jason's still around as a defensive guard off the bench. He'd get more time and oppurtunities under Musselman.

I think Douby could well be the speller for Mike. I wouldn't mind landing Banks at all for part of the MLE, or dealing for Duhon. But I'd say it's more likely Banks stays with Minny or goes to the Spurs (who were said to be chasing him for this summer back in June). Back-up PG is still up in the air right now.

Regardless, I think we should have some kind of PG with some experience at least on the roster. Be it Hart or someone else.

Should be cleared up by late Sept.

Yeah, I can understand that. Just odd to see him playing in the non-showcase part. The games before and after type stuff. It's interesting. He's defintely the focal point since he is the player coach. He did play well from the time I stayed to watch(had to leave after spending a long time there)
