Maybe you don't think the Utah Jazz welcoming Marvin Williams back to the lineup after he'd missed four games with right foot inflammation is quite as big a story as the Los Angeles Lakers activating Kobe Bryant after nearly eight months on the shelf due to a ruptured left Achilles tendon. Allow the crew at Jazz Game Night to change your mind with a brief video presentation: See? Looks just as reasonable for Marvdawg as it did for Beansie ! Plus, as @jermsguy noted Thursday morning , Williams actually lived up to the "hype" of his first game back , chipping in eight points, five assists, four rebounds and two steals without a turnover in 28 minutes of play to help Utah cruise to a 122-101 win over the Sacramento Kings, who played without new additions Rudy Gay, Quincy Acy and Aaron Gray for the second time since Sunday's trade with the Toronto Raptors. The Jazz racked up 35 assists, their most in nearly three years , against just six turnovers. Five players reached double figures for Utah (led by Ol' Firstname Lastname himself, Richard Jefferson, with 20 points) and nine players chipped in at least eight points on the evening. Clearly, Ty Corbin's team found inspiration in the knowledge that nothing — not fire, snow, rain, wind or even foot inflammation — could keep their legendary wing from rising once more. Stirring stuff, Jazz Game Night. Well done. Hat-tip to Friend of the Program Kris from SLC Dunk . - - - - - - - Dan Devine is an editor for Ball Don't Lie on Yahoo Sports. Have a tip?
