I am not very impressd by the play of team usa so far, they seem to settle for lots of three's, and just dont seem very fluid, like you would see on an nba team.
On another note, brad did seem slimer! He also seemed to run better, but i could have been imaging that. It also had me jumping up when he got the ball, when you was wide open, "shoot brad shoot, no dont pass." (smacks head on table)

None of us really know how brad really plays cuz he only got 4 mins, he made a shot...and was gone so maybe next half will be diff. but i doubt it

USA looks a long way from polished offensively. Ball movement not great, still too much individual play and wayyyyyy too many 3's. Face it guys, you're streak shooters, not jump shooters 
But as the team has been working purely on defense, I'll have to cut them some slack there. Early on they looked fairly clueless, but the full court press really started taking its toll in the second half.
Besides Heinrich, who are the "shooters" on this team? I'm still seeing way too many scorer types... and it's such a young squad. Wade and Lebron are great, but I'd definitely feel way more comfortable with Kobe on the team.

USA turned up the d and hustle, more team play (than in 1Q) when they got a more balanced line-up in the 2nd qtr. I was impressed.
Some nice stuff in the 1st qtr, but was overall not that good for the US.
Overall, decent 1st half for US. Look for more balanced play in the 2nd half, and eventually a double digit win.
I think the shooting will come as things go on - Johnson/Brand/Brad/Hinrich/Bosh/Battier/Bowen are all reliable shooters. The rest are streaky shooters.

Yea I heard that.
But honestly I don't think Bill Walton has a clue of whats going on.
I think people (in general) judged the first qtr as a quick conclusion... which was dumb IMO. The guys just had to get going and get other players into the mix that play roles and mix with the all-stars. As, since the 2nd qtr, it's been balanced and fun at the same time.
