I was forwarded a copy of an email season ticket holders received. Looks like they're starting to get the campaign going.

Thank you!
In voting to place a new arena on the ballot, County Supervisors all cited e-mails they had received from Kings fans - thousands of e-mails!
We are more convinced than ever that winning on Election Day depends on you -- just as your loudest and most loyal support wins games at ARCO.
The comprehensive community-needs approach to this issue will require an equally comprehensive campaign led by Sacramento's political, civic and business leaders. Supervisor Roger Dickinson and Vice-Mayor Rob Fong are building that comprehensive campaign. We will join with them.
And there's more we can do. An important part of our role now is to enable Kings and Monarchs fans to have your voices heard and empower you to help us all win in November.
In the next few weeks, the campaign will introduce a new website. We'll provide the website - you'll own its content. It's just part of an unprecedented grassroots campaign, as only Sacramento can - fans making your own tv ads, fans campaigning in front of grocery stores, fans writing letters to your neighbors, fans putting signs on your lawns, fans decorating your houses and even fans bringing cowbells to work.
We want the campaign to be fun. We want our fans to own this campaign in the same way that the community will own the new arena.
Thanks again for your support at the Board of Supervisors. Now we have to let our entire community hear that world-famous ARCO Thunder!

Should we tell them how long SaveOurKings has been around, along with other real grassroots groups that started quite some time ago?
Hopefully all the groups that have been trying in their small way will be able to join in and get this puppy passed.
