Any thoughts re: what players on this list would compliment our current Kings squad. I bolded the names of players I'd like to see invited to camp (all guards) but I'm not familiar with some of the names on this list.

Couple of updates.

Draft Express reports that Jerome Randle has been invited to the Wizards summer league team.

Hoopshype reports that Sherron Collins has been invited to the Bobcats summer league team.

I like those guards you bolded up top real surprised Randle and Collins went undrafted. Not surprised one bit about Schyer not getting drafted he never looked to me like a NBA prospect, always seemed like a poor mans JJ Redick.

I say invite Manny Harris and Scottie Reynolds see if they show signs of being capable of being our cheap backcourt piece we are looking for. I watched Scottie for years at Nova he definitely comes off ready for primetime even though he doesn't have the stats to prove it.

I really like Zoubeck and Samhan, but we have so many bigs already I doubt either of them will make our team.

Wouldnt mind giving Scottie Reynolds a shot. He's a really good shooter combo guard. Could be a good fit with Evans.

Alexey Shved would be a steal.

When I looked up Scheyer on NBADraft, they have his player comparison as Blake Stepp. That's a big help, now I just need a comparison for Blake freaking Stepp. They couldn't think of anybody who played more than five NBA games several years ago?

Maybe that's exactly what they were going for. A guy who played five NBA games and then promptly was forgotten.

I think the fact you don't know anything about Stepp, is all you really need to know.

I like Collins a lot. Any good outside shooters in that lot? I know the Kings brought in Whittman (Randy's son) who is a great shooter.

Another D-Leaguer that intrigues me is Morris Almond.

I'd love to see the Kings invite Samhan or Parakhouski to summer league, but it would be a disservice to them since they have no chance of making our roster. Man, I never thought I'd say that. At the top of my list is Torrance. I really hope they give him a good look. I'm pretty sure that Wise will get an invite since they brought him in twice for a look see. Too bad about Randle, but they'll still get a chance to see him play, and possibly sign him if they're interested. I agree that Scottie Reynolds is worth a look and a kid I really like is Matt Bouldin.

A couple of other guys that are down my list but are somewhat intriguing are Aubrey Coleman, a very good scorer and not a bad defender. And the french pt guard Heurtel. Personally I don't know much about him, but the french team has a reputation for developing pt guards. Since I'm going to summer league with Cruzedude, I can't wait to see the roster..
