I didn't argue that his shot would not get better. At all. Find the quote. Please do. I said he can't use ONE player to project another in terms of trajectory, which you fixed. I am amazed at the reading comprehension in this thread. He should take a stats class because his R2 values are ridiculously high in using one sample, and then replacing the subject with another. You used more samples, reducing R2. That's why he needs a stats class, or a Factorial class. Either way
Again, find where I said it wouldn't happen. Please. Where did I say Tyreke would not improve his shot? Where did I say he won't have a shot in the future?
I just don't see how he can use Durant to project Tyreke. It's no better than using a 20 year old who didn't pan out.

You didn't. But I never said you did.
From my point of view, and maybe you didn't see it that way, what KingsGuy was saying is approximately this: "Curry has a better shot/more polished game now. But Tyreke is three years younger. Guys get better between 20 and 23. Look, for example, at Durant." Durant wasn't really the point, the point is that guys generally get better between 20 and 23. But you attacked the argument by getting hung up on the Durant thing so I ran some numbers to back up what I perceived as the meat of KingsGuy's argument. I never made any claim about anything you might have said outside of what I quoted.
For your own sake, I'm not going to quote the rest of your comment. But you might want to look down at your shoulders and see if there are any chips there. They'll be really big, and hard to miss.

You took a good conversation and turned it Ito some kind of attack on you, which I never saw happen. Call me biased if you want, but you really victimized yourself in an embarassing way. When Kingsguy brought up durant, I got the same impression as Factorial did because it makes sense to compare players who have a lot in common as far as progessively getting better from 20 to 23 (which I obviously think Tyreke is going to do... If he can get past the whole mouthguard thing).
I honestly thought you were making good points about Curry, then for some reason you went all manic on us and started acting like people were out to get you. It is rediculous for you to act like Curry doesn't have the slightest advantage over reke having gone to school. Why so many players think that one and doneing and skipping school all together is a good idea has always baffled me though. I have to admit thoughthat there are those rare occasions where they might as well have done so I.e. Lebron, Kobe, and more recently Tyreke (one and done that is). We get what you were saying about Curry man, and there were a few that agreed with you wholeheartedly I'm sure, but you really don't need to play the victim here, that's not part of a good discussion believe it or not!

Look guy, the whole Durant comparison thing is getting you all worked up and it shouldn't. You say that you can pick any random 20 year old that didn't pan out, but tell me why you would do that to compare to Tyreke? What 20 year old came into the league, avg'd 20-5-5, got the ROY award, and then didn't pan out? Do you realize how ridiculous it was for you to say that?
I picked Durant because Durant was young, Durant was raw, Durant had potential, Durant had similar #'s to Tyreke in his rookie season, and Durant was also the ROY. I fail to see why I would choose to compare Tyreke to someone who was crap their rookie year to point out how Tyreke is going to fail after the season he is having.
Tyreke is 20 years old, he is definitely not as polished as Curry, yet he is still BETTER THAN CURRY. I like Curry, I like his game. If he played for San Antonio, even if he was able to become the starter on that team he would not drop as many points as he does on GS. He is a victim of circumstance. Is he going to be good? Not doubt. Great? Probably. On Tyreke's level? Never, not even right now. If he had to play Tyreke one on one, Tyreke would gobble him up like some Fruity Pebbles.

Seriously though I understand a need to defend Curry because we don't want to be labeled as biased purple lovers, but this is really what it comes down too. Curry truly will never be on Tyreke's level, well I should not say the n word since these are in fact, rookies. I just have a good feeling about Tyreke. He sure did a decent job as a floor general tonight!
I really like Curry too, but I cannot help but notice when he gives up a game winning runner by Collison from New Orleans. And I too, always get the feeling he is just profiting from the system he is in immensely. I am sure he will be great in his own way, I just really cannot ever see him getting to that next level, a level that Mr. Evans seems to be spin moving and long striding his way to every game.

You obviously didn't understand my point. I'm not taking anything away from Curry nor am I saying that Evans can't shoot because he doesn't have a dad who can shoot. I'm saying that having a dad who is a good shooter would definitely help if you are talented, like Steph Curry is. If you disagree, and feel that having a good shooter around (whether it's all the time or not) would actually impair your ability to shoot instead then we'll just have to agree to disagree.
