I do not believe anything Jason Jones writes, says or tweets. And since Reke is retweeting what his brother is saying, I think Reke is more upset about crap like what Jones has said than anything else. I think it's possible someone from Reke's agent is throwing a lot of feces out there to see what sticks...
Until something is signed, anywhere in this, any offer we give can be counter offered/outbid. And come the 13th Reke is still ours but we had to pay more. Anything our FO says lets NO know if they have to clear another million or 2 if they really want Reke. Staying silent means we know what we are spending. Or staying silent means we are going to let him walk.... Either way we will know after something can be signed(10th to 13th) and not likely before. Even if we reassure him, it is going to get to NO and be used to try to up the cost.

As I reported earlier, Evans was giving the Kings until today to make an offer or he'd be agreeing on the offer sheet with the Pelicans.

I just dont get it, if Reke is going to verbally commit to offer sheet unless Vivek submits an offer, then vivek will only be able to put the rest of off season on hold (cant work until 13mil cap hold is gone) let pelicans go ahead and set the value, then match on the 11th after offer sheet signed
So the thinking is if verbal offer is made by Vivek today for 4yr 40mil or 5yr 50 mil, we would just be shooting ourselves in the foot and Pelicans would up offer more by the 10th?

I doubt if he has figured it out which very well could be because he is new to the forum. I'll explain it to HereWeVivek or someone else can but I personally would want to be asked. I want the satisfaction of knowing I "got" someone.

If you had the choice to play with Holiday, Gordan (will probably be traded for something nice in return) and A. Davis or Thomas, Big Mac and Cousins you would have to be a complete idiot to choose the latter a team with better talent WANTS him and are showing him they want him why wouldn't Reke want to leave Sacramento other than Cousins becoming a beast there's nothing else here for him. Instead you see your management offering up a crazy offer to a player who does not deserve anywhere near the money we offered (than took back) in Iggy I would be packing my bags hard if I were Reke
