Tyreke Evans predraft workout video

Pretty old, but his jumpshot looks pretty fine in the video...Perhaps in our zest to change his shooting form we've lowered his shooting %, since he has spent most of his time shooting like that. I'm sure if one day Coachie told Kmart to change his shooting form his % would drop significantly for a while

Actually they did try to change Martin's shot. However, since his form seemed to work fine, they gave up. Neither of them are the only ones with ugly looking jump shots. Shawn Marion's is worse.

This does not have anything to with the video really, but after watching Reke for the first part of the season, his game really kind of reminds me of Artest - just a bit shorter. They are similar in that while they are shorter they are both strong enough to get to the hoop just about anytime they want. They also have the ball handling skills to bring the ball up the court and start the offense and act as a pseudo-PG. Artest is a better outisde shooter, but as Reke's game progresses I can see even this part of his game looking more like artests.

Difference probably is that Artest just powers his way to the rim, head down. Evans at least pulls a cross over and from there on is just too big for the person guarding him to stay in front of.

And shawn marion's shot is the bomb.
