Tyreke Evans Named December Rookie Of The Month

Good job! Looks like Jennings was the East choice again and until Griffin gets back it's a two-man race for the big banana!

Congrats, Reke! :)

I hope he gets used to the brace on his ankle soon, since he's apparently going to wear it for the rest of the season.

After I blew out my ankle and started wearing one, I basically never took it off for the remainder of my athletic career. You get used to it, and its actually comforting to have that extra support there.

Considering all the ankle injuries in the NBA, maybe guys need to start wearing them before they hurt their ankles. ;)

Congrats to Reke I was kinda hoping Omri would get ROM for december with the stats he put up oh well go Reke!!!!

Word. At certain times, I'll tape my ankles and wear a brace, depending on the activity. It doesn't take that long to get used to a brace. Really, maybe a few minutes or so.

Finally, some good news after all the bad losses. Go Reke!

Also, Reke's going to wear a brace all season? Does that mean that his injury is serious or something?

its going to be a tight race for the RoY.. the bucks are falling in the playoff race... at this case its going to be about who has the best standings..

reke will win it if we improve significantly from last year also he should not miss any more games..

Reke winning ROY would be so awesome. Having the ROY and, Omri, and a bunch of great young players with potential could lure a star/quality big to sign with us in the off season.

If you're the rookie of every month, that naturally makes you rookie of the year doesn't it :D

he's the rookie of the month for the western conference, jennings was named the eastern conference player of the month....

congrats to evans yet again... lets try to get January...

Somebody likes Kings very much.

Rookie of the year
1. Evans
I wasn't smitten with his shot selection early on, and am still nervous about the "move" to "point guard" for Tyreke, but this kid has been an absolute joy to watch so far. He's averaging 20 points with a combined 10 assists/rebounds, as the Kings continue to "surprise."

3. Casspi
James Harden(notes) may have helped put the Bulls away last night, while Stephen Curry(notes) and Jonny Flynn(notes) have gotten plenty of shots, but this guy is ballin' right now.
He's shooting 50 percent, 47.4 percent from long range, and averaging about 13 points and 4.6 rebounds in only 27 minutes a contest.

MIP
2. Udrih
It may not be the flashiest name, but Beno has gone from a point guard that can hurt his own team to an above-average contributor. It's all about the jump, not the landing, and though he's not an All-Star, that doesn't mean Udrih hasn't improved considerably.
