Tyreke Evans in NBA.com Race to the MVP

I think if we even make the playoffs reke should win mvp, especially if we beat the suns in the 1st round. Just as the original article that is my valid opinion to myself. To go from 17 wins to a playoff contender with really just 2 additions, reke and omri, I label that as very valuable.

I doubt it. Kobe lead a team where the third best player was Luke Walton to the playoffs while averaging 35pg and he did not win the MVP no way in hell Evans wins.

I get your point but a guy like Kobe. Veteran. 3 rings. Is expected to do more than get the 8th seed. It may not be fair but if Evans were to lead us to the 8th seed, that's a helluva lot more impressive than what Kobe or any other established star doing the same

Especially after a 17 win, last place in the entire NBA, season.

I've mentioned before that nobody, and I do mean NOBODY, wins MVP with less than a 50 win team. Not Kobe, not LeBron. Nobody. The unspoken rule has always been best player on an elite team. Elite normally meaning Top 5, 55+ win type stuff.

That's true, but I think if the Kings win around 48 games (which would be very hard at this point) he might get a vote or two. Not much of a chance he wins it though, even if the Kings break 50 wins.
