Tyreke 20-5-5

Seemed to me the Ref's didn't agree! They called a horrible game ! But that didn't take any luster off of this great achievement! Good for Tyreke Evans and good for the Kings! The loss was kinda sad but I guess it helps get the draft pick we need! Tomorrow the Fakers! No pressure on Tyreke Now! He can just take it to the Fakers !! I hope he scores 50 on them !!

Next year with a better center and more pieces, this Kings team is going to make some noise!! GO KINGS !!

What are you talking about? The refs were perfectly fine.

Congrats Tyreke on the 20-5-5

Congrats to the kid. A new Kings Era will soon begin at this guy at the helm. 20-5-5 is nothing to sneeze at. The only players during the 2009-10 season to average 20-5-5.....

Kobe
Lebron
Tyreke

Amazing and Epic.

I' happy that Evans is a King;)
Congrats man:D
Sorry for of topic, but I wonder where is a VF21:confused:?
Long time she did't write any comments on Kings Fan Forum

Here's looking forward to more great moments like this:

Jordan
Robertson
James
Evans

Kobe averaged like 6 points his rookie year. Granted he came into a playoff team raw as hell. And it wasn't like nobody saw his potential. I don't know where you came up with that list though ;)

Congrats 'Reke. Very well deserving. See ya tmrw at staples!

didnt know Oscar Robertson and Michael still played :p

Hahahaha wowwwww brain fart on my end. Didn't notice the part where he said 2009-10 season. I guess I'm just too high off of 20-5-5!

Just got back from the game and I am so glad to have witnessed the 24 points that he needed to get 20-5-5. Its a good thing Tyreke had 22 points in the first half because he only had 2 points off free throws in the 2nd half. But hey, it was those points he needed.

CONGRATS TYREKE!

Well, I'm glad he did it tonight. Tomorrow I have school and can't see the game. Good for him. The crowd looked pretty crazy on TV. Still, with how he's noticeably uncomfortable with praise, that must have been hard for him to score that last free throw with the crowd going crazy and on their feet.

Just got back from the game, don't know if it has been mentioned or was mentioned on the broadcasts, but without a doubt the hightlight of the game was that second free throw and the subsequent time out where Arco gave Tyreke a standing ovation that lasted the entire timeout. It was awesome. Everyone in the building standing and everyone clapping and cheering. One of my all time favorite Arco moments ever. He must have missed 10 shots in a row trying to get those last two points. Every time he had the ball the crowd was going crazy, even started a few "Ty-Reke" chants. I am so happy that I had to chance to see it in person.

And I got a free button!

Grawlix is talking about this year. Lebron, Kobe, and Tyreke are the only players to get 20/5/5 this year.

Grats Tyreke!

I have been scared for the past couple weeks because I wasn't sure if he would make it or not. Should have had faith!

20-5-5...

wow...

its quite a statistical accomplishment for any player in the league, and astonishing when it's a 20-year-old rookie...

now tyreke just needs to lock up ROY, which shouldn't be terribly difficult, given that he'll have the vast majority of the sensible votes, while the remaining moronic votes will be split between curry and jennings...

and once the first-year accolades, awards, pressures, and walls are outta the way, he can get to bucklin' down this offseason. from what i've gathered, basketball pretty much dominates this kid's life, and he's got the work ethic to be great. he's as sure as it gets in the nba. sky's the limit, and all that...

then its just up the kings front office to continue putting the right pieces around tyreke. draft day will be an exciting day for the future of this franchise. free agency could bring some excitement, as well. in the meantime, i'm excited for the playoffs. no kings, but some great match-ups to keep us sedated while we wait for the future of our team to unfold...

Yup congrats Tyreke, Kings org., fans etc! It's cool that we have two on that list of rookies with 20-5-5. Watched the game on tv, looked like they had a good time.

It was kinda funny that Tyreke missed like 10 shots or something trying to get the basket to put him over the top. If it had been a last second shot with the game on the line he would have made them all. :D

I just realized that the King organization is (kind of) the only franchise to have two rookies average 20-5-5.

Don't mean to rain on anybody's parade but, meh.

I think it's cool and all, and I'm happy for Evans and the Kings organization, but I don't consider this to be that big of a deal.

Congrats to Tyreke. What an amazing player. Who woulda known the guy that threw me a kings stress ball at the Rookie welcome party would make history??? Now I have is autograph on his rookie card and a basketball. He is a tremendous player and even a better person.

Go Reke!

Yea... in 50 years... it's been done 4 times.... no big deal at all. Hardly news worthy event in sports.
