'Twas right before tip-off

The other night I was playing around with "Twas the night before Christmas, with a Kings twist. Its unfinished and I thought maybe some of you might want to help. I will post in a bit, if there seems to be interest. However. I have some reluctance, because I absolutley do not want team, player, coach, owner insults added. I want no cynicism, no bad language, no rolling eyes, no critical remarks about what anybody writes (including me). I want it to be fun and light. Remember, its a fantasy, but I'd like it to be about the team right now or the Kings in general. (Altho if you want to add a KG or LeBron or ? to the team, that's okay ) Just don't trade anybody, please. (I've gotten as far as the Dash away line.

‘Twas right before tip-off, and all over Arco,​

Not a true fan was quiet, signs waved to and fro.
The purple and black could be seen everywhere,
In hopes that the Sac team would show the old flare.
Others were tuned in on their big screen TVs,
Could you bring me a beer? And yes, I said please.
And I, in my jersey, and my friend in his cap,
were balancing drinks, hot dogs and fries in our laps.
Then out on the court, Bibby came up with the steal,
I jumped up with a shout and (oops) there went my meal.
Bibby to Bonzi to Shareef for the dunk!
More plays like that and I’ll be out of my funk.
The board showed the Kings were ahead by just four.
C’mon Kings with your defense you need to do more
Then what to my wondering eyes should appear,
Pedja after rebounds and showing no fear,
with a Hoosier center so lively and fleet
The other team had to be feeling the heat.
Playing better than all-stars, Rick’s players had game
and he whistled and shouted and called them by name:
Now Bibby! Now Bonzi!
Now, Miller and Thomas!
Go, Pedja! Go, Shareef!
Go Cisco, and Corliss!
To the top of the key,
Then down low in the post,
Now dish away, dish away
to score the most.
