Tropical Island Video Vault Draft - ROUND 20 - FINAL ROUND

Edit: It was brought to my attention that I misinterpreted one of the rankings (putting it in original draft order vs. the sandscrit that was delivered...) After much taxing mathematics, logarithmic exercises, and painstaking, redundant work checking here's the final rankings:

Righteous! Hopefully it carries over through the playoffs, but there were some pretty good lists - although it seems like my top 3 choices didn't go with the majority. Go figure.

Well it has been a very interesting and surprising draft for me.
Looking at my list I realize I could have participated without infringing with any of you players. So to sum things up, here are my two cents, in case anyone is interested in checking out a somewhat different direction:

1. "The big blue" is for me one of the all time greatest.
2. Run a search on IMDb for "Takeshi Kitano". I can't believe none of his films was drafted.
3. A few foreign films I would recommend checking out:
"Departures" (Oscar winning Japanese film), Pan's labyrinth (Mexican masterpiece) and Chocolat (French drama with American actors).
4. "The name of the Rose" has somehow eluded the drafts. Can't say I really concur.

I could go on but I will stop here. If anyone is interested I can send him my list in full (PM me).
Thank you all for making this so interesting and for making TDOS a bit more bearable. Good luck to all in the playoffs! :)

Chocolat bounced around briefly for me at the far edges of my lists.

Pan's Labryinth was interesting and visionary, but its one fo those "would I want to watch that again and again?" things.
