To be fair, the guy might be traumatized by the one offseason that he did try going somewhere else and got so thoroughly misused by Nick Nurse that he almost fell out of the league until Monte brought him back again.

I had high hopes for Crawford after we signed him this summer, but he didn't show much in summer league. I'm hoping with some time in Stockton, he can develop into a viable option off the bench.

In fairness summer league is not friendly to bigs. Guards all trying to earn contracts so they don’t get many touches
