[Game] Trailblazers @ Kings - 2/2/12

Dude, it's not just points. People say because Jimmer scored 5 at GS he played fine. You're pointing to IT's 3 pointers. There's a whole lot more to the game than points.

He was pretty bad for most of the time he was in. I watched the game. Jimmer didn't play well that game but not bad enough to not get any minutes the next game.

It's interesting that the Kings D got a lot better with Thornton off the court. It may be Cousins being back on the floor. Despite the size issue, IT & Reke seem to be the King's best defensive backcourt duo.

I'd say it's more that Thornton had Hayes and JJ backing him up, not Cousins and JT who are our best help defenders.

Whatever. I'm not derailing this thread into a Jimmer thread again. Smart obviously doesn't agree with your stance right now.

Well he just got burned with a backcut by being in no man's land. Kings guards can't really be taking risks when the team has no reliable shotblocker in the back.

So Jimmer got benched before Salmons.

Good thing too the way this one has gone. But realy that's obviosuly a positional thing. Actualy pretty sure I saw Jimmer head to the scorer's table in the early/mid second to complete Smart's random 2nd quarter lineup of the night, but the guys out there were getting killed so bad that he had to emergency sub back in Reke/Cousins/Thompson to try to stabilize us.
