Trade JT/Hawes for Mayo Thabeet

I wanted to kick this trade talk around: Trade JT and Hawes and Garcia to Memphis for Mayo/ Thabeet and one of their first round picks. I am just throwing it out there since JT fouls too much and Hawes is a sissy "big" who thinks he is a SG. Thoughts...

I am not a big Hawes/JT fan and not even I would do this.. Well I don't like Thabeet so I guess I am picking the lesser of two evils.. But I do like Mayo!! Not with Evans though. they are kind of the same player (Evans being the more talented of the two).

Bullcrap they wouldn't... They would trade Mayo for Reke in a heartbeat being that he's a Memphis guy and all.. They would be stupid not to.

Oj Mayo was runner up for ROY.... I actually like him better than Rose...Reke doesn't have the attention like what rose had because he wasn't the #1 draft pick...but ASK AROUND about OJ OR REKE in Memphis Tread....who will they take?

Serious? I mean SERIOUS??? You want to ask Memphis people if they would trade a Memphis guy who is destined to be a superstar for OJ Mayo? Did you read their boards when they took Thabeet over Evans? They were pretty pissed and have every right to be.. Evans was supposed to go to Memphis.

And BTW, Gay is their best player, not Mayo. And Memphis LOVES Reke.. I dare you to ask if they would do it player for player.. Send us the link when you do

At this point, we probably couldn't trade JT and Hawes just for salary cap let alone a solid young player and the #2 pick in the 2009 draft.

Folks, Thabeet is playing in the D league for a reason. Now whether you like Hawes or Thompson doesn't matter. This we know. They're both capable of playing at the NBA level. They might not meet your personal expectations, but both are NBA players. Right now, Thabeet isn't capable of playing at the NBA level. If you think you get angry at Hawes for some of his uninspired and sometimes inept play, well just wait till the only center you would have on this team is a center thats lost on offense and defense and fouls at a 20% higher rate than Thompson does. There's wishful thinking and there's reality. And the reality is that Thabeet isn't ready to be a starter or even a realible backup center in the NBA. I won't even get into the O.J. Mayo/Evans debate.
