they are on the same page until simmons becomes a whiny diva again, then durant will put his foot in his ass. Remember, there is only enough room for one diva on most teams...the nets got 3. Durant is the same guy that took his ball and went home from Golden State dynasty which would have won another 2 had he stayed (at least) because he got mad at Draymond. He is the one with many a Finstas. His tolerance for Kyrie this year not withstanding, Kyrie is on and focused when playing. Simmons is a worry wart that KD probably will have to keep on a leash. Curry is a good pull but if we had to give up Tyrese for Sabonis, it is only logical they would have to give up a good player (who actually is playing).Brooklyn will take its time getting Ben Simmons acclimated, but the star guard welcomes a change of scenery and has already had conversations with Kevin Durant and they’re all on the same page, league sources tell @YahooSports.

Wow. That is a GREAT trade for Boston.
They finally get a point guard who isn't Dennis Schroeder.
The Brooklyn Nets are still working to be aggressive in more deal-making today, armed with two new first-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

He looks like Zion workout partnerDunno what people are watching. When the Nets were here a few weeks ago I couldn't tell if that was Harden or the new politically correct Pillsbury dough boy.
Well if Pop is planning to retire soon I see why Becky went to the WNBA.

At least they get a pick? Either way, I have absolutely no idea what the Spurs are doing.
HOW THE F does he get this narrative ?
Meanwhile the Kings get their top trade target for a good young player but keep all their draft capital, appear to get 3/4 of the best players in a 6 player trade, a pick, and dump the worst contract in the deal and Monte sucks.
also who knows what's what from last night, but however much the team must have been hurting from Haliburton it seems they threw a frickin party that the other two dudes weren't around.
Looks like they are tanking big time.

But Josh Richardson is also too good to be a "tank" player.Looks like they are tanking big time.
He hasn't been good in 3 years. But Josh Richardson is also too good to be a "tank" player.
They need to flip McBuckets, Poeltl, and Richardson in the next hour or so or else nothing they've done is going to make any sense.Spurs really checked out.
He was really solid for Boston this year.He hasn't been good in 3 years.
He was a bonehead when he was in Phoenix but seems to get his head straight the last couple years

A solid bench player, yeah, but nothing that will change a tank. His contract is why I was wondering why the Spurs took him, but they are paying for the pick so that makes sense. He was really solid for Boston this year.
Not gonna dock him for not being able to play for Carlisle
So Im a guy from Ohio who on got really into basketball in early 2000s (how i fell in love with the kings during the webber/divac/jwill era and stuck with it). I however grew up loving the rockets/Hakeem too. So those are the two teams i root for(hard logic to follow, i get it). I have followed harden throughout the Houston era. He does a Slow Down/Strike when he wants out. Him playing checked out is classic harden move to get the F out of town. He has shot poorly this year, no doubt. BUT he has dropped 22/8/10 this year. He is no slouch. And he is a willing passer despite his rep. He will be dangerous with Embiid/Harris/Thybulle/Maxey. This is the best team he has ever had. By Far.If you have a chance to get a MVP you do it. Not giving out Maxey and Thybull is a plus for them. One concern for Sixer is Harden looked like he checked out in the past couple weeks. Also Harden just doesn't seem to fit with anyone because of his play style.
They might as well do it. But it is not like McD and Poeltl helped them a lot. They are sitting at 6th worst record now. They need to flip McBuckets, Poeltl, and Richardson in the next hour or so or else nothing they've done is going to make any sense.
But if 3 of the 4 picks are in the 20s, does it really matter? Especially if they don't bottom out enough to get into the top 4.They are doing what most on the board asked the Kings to do. If they make the deal with Charlotte for a first they could have up to 4 first rounders in the next draft.

Yeh it remains to be seen. Not saying it would be my preferred path but they must believe in the core of Murray, Primo, Vassell and a likely top 7 pick.
