Trade Deadline Thread

they are on the same page until simmons becomes a whiny diva again, then durant will put his foot in his ass. Remember, there is only enough room for one diva on most teams...the nets got 3. Durant is the same guy that took his ball and went home from Golden State dynasty which would have won another 2 had he stayed (at least) because he got mad at Draymond. He is the one with many a Finstas. His tolerance for Kyrie this year not withstanding, Kyrie is on and focused when playing. Simmons is a worry wart that KD probably will have to keep on a leash. Curry is a good pull but if we had to give up Tyrese for Sabonis, it is only logical they would have to give up a good player (who actually is playing).

HOW THE F does he get this narrative ?

Meanwhile the Kings get their top trade target for a good young player but keep all their draft capital, appear to get 3/4 of the best players in a 6 player trade, a pick, and dump the worst contract in the deal and Monte sucks.
also who knows what's what from last night, but however much the team must have been hurting from Haliburton it seems they threw a frickin party that the other two dudes weren't around.
I do think it will be a positive deal for both teams. I actually think the 76ers got the better end here. harden has a way of doing a slow strike when he wants to leave (just ask houston). He is (on an off year) putting up 22/8/10. So lets not forget that this guy is capable of dropping 50 on anyones head at any given night when he feels like playing. I think with Embiid, Harris, Thybulle, and Maxey, he will be very very dangerous. I just cant wait until the day they meet in the playoffs and Simmons is going to have to switch onto Embiid in the playoffs.

Its gonna be this.

He was really solid for Boston this year.
Not gonna dock him for not being able to play for Carlisle
A solid bench player, yeah, but nothing that will change a tank. His contract is why I was wondering why the Spurs took him, but they are paying for the pick so that makes sense.

He wasn't good in Philly either

If you have a chance to get a MVP you do it. Not giving out Maxey and Thybull is a plus for them. One concern for Sixer is Harden looked like he checked out in the past couple weeks. Also Harden just doesn't seem to fit with anyone because of his play style.
So Im a guy from Ohio who on got really into basketball in early 2000s (how i fell in love with the kings during the webber/divac/jwill era and stuck with it). I however grew up loving the rockets/Hakeem too. So those are the two teams i root for(hard logic to follow, i get it). I have followed harden throughout the Houston era. He does a Slow Down/Strike when he wants out. Him playing checked out is classic harden move to get the F out of town. He has shot poorly this year, no doubt. BUT he has dropped 22/8/10 this year. He is no slouch. And he is a willing passer despite his rep. He will be dangerous with Embiid/Harris/Thybulle/Maxey. This is the best team he has ever had. By Far.
