4 million dollars?!
4 million is flushing money down the drain for DWill.
The guy wouldn't be worth 2 mil, based on his history.
He sat on the bench and laid turds all over the court for almost a season and a half before he started to give (even half-hearted) effort - at least on the offensive side of the ball.
Then, he had half of a season of basically garbage time to rack up easy dunks and points.
He screwed over the Kings organization by playing so horribly, back when they COULD have traded him and gotten value for him. Now, that ship has sailed - the Kings can't "get anything for him in return."
He proved he only is interested in his own neck, since he waited 3 1/2 years before caring what he did on the court.
Faced with losing millions of dollars, he finally decided to put some effort in (on offense, with garbage time padding his stats). That kind of personality is well-known in NBA circles - the list of "talented" players who only play for a paycheck, and once they get it, they go back to sucking, is endless.
