Not sure if you guys think this would be a good idea, but do you think we could land Tony Parker in a trade if we offered our top 10 pick, i heard something about maybe we can still trade the "rights" to our pick? would this be enough? maybe we can also ask for their first and include jimmer from our side. And then maybe that trade can help entice a guy like Nicolas Batum to sign here.

If we don't get on of the top 3/4 picks, I would do it. TP is 30 years old, so I believe he has at least 4 or 5 good seasons left (if not more - Jason Kidd, Steve Nash), and he is an elite point guard, with playoff and championship experience. We would improve a lot with him. Then, he is under contract for 3 more seasons, at a reasonable price. If we could get him and then convince Batum that we are serious here, I don't see how we could stay out of the playoff.

Younger, maybe. Better? Who is really better than TP at the point guard? Rose? Paul? But we have no chances with them. If TP is available for the 5th pick or something like that, I'd go for it. Do you see a better PG we could target?
