If you could magically bring back one retired NBA player at his prime to play for the kings next year, who would it be?

I have a feeling most people might say that, so let's exclude him from the list of possibilities to make it more interesting.

Why exclude anyone? If that's who people would choose, so be it...

Although he may not actually be retired, I'd choose Vlade Divac. At his prime he may not have been the greatest to play the game but he was a key in taking the Kings to places they'd never gone before. I think the "original" Vlade could do it again.

magic.... maybe wilt.... but thats being greedy.... how about pippen or rodman in their primes... that would be nice... a rookie webber would be nice for next season.... isaiah thomas....

there are to many choices outside of the obvious, jordan, bird, magic trio....

karl malone... lol..... 1999-2000 shaq... lol again....

Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon in the middle would make the Kings champs.

That's if you prefer highlights with your yearly playoff choke (check Doc's playoff resume). Better pair him with Moses while you're at it. ;)

im sorry, were the rules here to pick someone with stellar playoff performances???

How About...

Chris Webber?

Would have loved to see that guy play at the top of his game in the Dallas/Minnesota/Sonics series.

...ah, what could have been.

Anyone? Then for me it would be Bird. But, if the question had a twist to it such as "any player in history before an injury" or something else then it would have to be Bobby Hurley. I would love to see what he would have been able to do had he never been in that car accident. Personally, I was not his biggest fan while he was at Duke, but I just remember the reports from the 1992 Dream Tream's training camp where he was at and people like Magic kept saying that Hurley was phenominal against the pros durring their scrimages. It would be fun to see what would have happend.
