Remember, the Kings actively wanted to lose many of those games last year, so as not to give enough victories to George Karl that he would stay as their coach.

This is the first season since the 9-4 Malone start 2 years ago that the players wanted to win.

It's a whole new season, and a whole new team (in more ways than one).

I hope you are right. This game is a barometer for me as to how much this team has changed. I liked what I saw the first two games, but Minnesota is a team on the same tier as us, and we need to win these kind of games at home.
