Tim Kawakami: Larry Ellison wants to bring the Hornets to NorCal

I know he's talking about San Jose, but is it possible if we got our **** together and built an arena that's new he'd choose Sac instead? Even still, I'd rather have a team in San Jose than root for GSW or Anaheim. On the bright side, our region could be cheering for Chris Paul 2 years from now.

I guess anything is possible with Larry Ellison - I know he thinks so. I read his biography about ten years ago - he's now 66 years of age. It's entitled, "The Difference Between God and Larry Ellison* (Inside Oracle Corp.) The "*" reveals with "*God Doesn't Think He's Larry Ellison." Of note, he's a very avid and experienced pilot including flying his own MIG-29! Ellison would probably have no problem jetting over to Sac anytime in one of his many aircraft from his purchased for $70 million south Bay Area estate. Just one of his many multi-million dollar houses plus a multi-million dollar yacht and assorted other expensive exotic toys. He definitely wants another toy to play with - an NBA franchise - no doubt about it!

The NBA would allow 2 teams in NoCal and 3 in SoCal.
I think the NBA is really hurting their product.
