[Game] Thunder vs. Kings - Feb 12

NBA.com says the game will be on NBATV. It also says we're getting Dick Bavetta.

Prediction: DMC (and possibly Reke) is plagued with foul trouble, most of which are iffy calls, and we lose the game by single digits, with the Thunder having at least 15 more FT attempts than us.

Tyreke better move his feet on D tonight. Westbrook will attack, attack, and attack some more. Pretty sure Westbrook/Durant are number 2 and 3 in the NBA in FT's made. Also a game where Cousins will be important. If we have any advantage, it's him, on the inside.

NBATV announcer quoting Mario Elie on DMC : "We're trying to get him to take more outside shots"

Sigh... The Petrie/Coachie effect I guess.

They also probably want him to get more comfertable in the high post, a lot like Webber.

So far you have to be very happy with the Kings' play in this one.
If we can play a full 48 minutes we can win another one on national TV.

I like that take by Omri. Curling off a screen and drwing the foul. Lets see more of that.

I like it too, rather than see him routinely settle for the deep perimeter shot. Unfortunately, Omri has very small hands for a guy his size and cannot lift the ball high to get up even higher on those slashing moves.

I don't think his hand size should effect him too much when attacking the hoop, but more with his ball handling. Regardless of hand size, he's tall and long enough that runners and flip shots should work fine down the road.

Grant/Jerry, that's called being a ball hog. How come the first time Landry touches the ball after checking in, he always jacks up a shot?

Kings coaches have called it a weakness - Om's small hands. They also point out is he leads Kings in having his shot blocked this season. If he was able to hold the ball higher on his shots (slashing and outside) he'd be more effective. Also, he needs work on ball handling - no doubt. Personally, I'd be ok with him or Donte (or both) being traded before the deadline IF something worthwhile was coming back in return. Hurry up and comeback CISCO!
