Kings have gotten really, really good at being very very bad or as I like to call it phenomenally awful. Kings extended the losing streak to eight games because Bulls were just not bad enough tonight if that is possible at all. 0-22 against the east, 7-16 at home and 10-38 overall and so on, and so on. January ended 2-13 and February isn't going to be less successful either. One of the few chances fr a woss Kings will have on Sunday when Thunder pays a visit to the ARCO funeral home.

Yes, there are playoffs in the NBA and no, we don't care.

And game against Thunder is an early one especially for some of us who don't like to have the all day spoiled and who won't be wasting 6 hrs of their lives watching new commercials and a sport with a fake name. The game should have been scheduled 3 hrs later as an adequate measure for what both teams are offering. No people in the stands and no one watching on TV. Or move it a 3 or 4 am when people come back from "night life" to sober up quickly. 10 pm isn't too bad either because most people will be drunk enough to handle it without developing more trauma. Why not cancel the game all along ? Do You really think that anyone would notice if a game involving Kings and Thunder doesn't take place ? Do You believe that anyone at the end of the season will bother to add the games of both teams to check whether the sum is 82 ?

One week from now Chris Webber will have his jersey retired either as a whole or in 3 flexible pieces. I still think that the ceremony has to be postponed indefinitely. I am afraid that the ceremony will be ruined with what will come after it. If Webber is smart he will enjoy the ceremony and leave right after it. That is what I would do. It will be very emotional night for many people still living in the past trying to avoid the brutal reality. Having a jersey retired is a great honor - losing by 30 right after that is a great embarrassment. Any chance of that game being sold out ?

We can only hope for a second Christmas also known as trade deadline. Obviously, it will take a miracle to fool someone into taking anything we offer without giving us back something we have no use for. Overall the deadline in the past years have always proven to be extremely disappointing and frustrating as the deals have been made by other teams. Hell, even McHale looks like he has a plan. Do we ? I hope - we do and I hope that it doesn't involve hoping to sign a major free agent because no one in their right state of mind would want to come here unless severely overpaid. Signing Vlade, trading for Chris, drafting Jason and signing Pedja - doesn't happen very often especially at the same time. But when it happens - it is something
special.

We secured the option for Kenny Nothing so no one would steal him from us. What a keeper ! Secure - really ? Such a strong word. From whom ? Does anyone even know that he is the Kings coach right now ? It is more like - cheep is good under these circumstances. How bad is the coaching stuff when he was the best of the options we had ? We used to have assistant coaches like Porter, Scott, Jordan and other. What the hell happened ?

In a game in which Bulls scored over 100 points shooting over 50% but didn't outrebound the Kings, in a game in which Rose didn't get a triple double, Noah and Sefolosha didn't have a career game, in a game in which Kenny nothing irritated many times and the half time show was the least of our problems - Kings failed to win but. Luckily, Brick doesn't fail and he will never run out pretty girls to reduce the pain. It is obvious that it doesn't take anything special to beat the Kings. You have to have a pulse and be present. Nothing more.

A must lin game coming up against the Thunder. It is a difficult task because Thunder is too Young but it would be very, very important for Kings to secure the lin in the game that counts twice. I expect an ugly but close game in front of close friends and relatives who couldn't find anything better to do on Sunday afternoon. even the players will be excited to get it over with. We will have the opportunity to enjoy watching pretty talented Thunder team against the veteran Kings team where both teams will be playing to lose even though there can be only one.

Thunder is walking TDM machine. Just take a pick. My pick this time is Westbrook. However - never underestimate Chuck Atkins ability to go for 30 while being ignored by our stealth defense. All in all - we need to find a way to get a lin - no matter what.

Even if they were only to draw around 5,000 or so to Arco they'd no doubt pad it as much as possible
