Those with CSN-Sacramento

Shadowlude

G-League
I have Directv and it has CSN-sacramento. I've been watching kings games on CSN-sac and then all of a sudden last week it stopped showing it. I called them to see what was up and they said some games are blacked out. I can watch all other things on the channel but when game time comes around it says that the channel is not available. I dont think all the games could be blacked out since it just started happening. Do you guys who have CSN-Sac get to watch the game or are they blacked out too? I'm thinking this is some deal Directv makes up just so their customers end up buying NBA league pass...if i had the money I would but i'm a poor college student getting by on watching the kigns up till recently =(

Rock - He's in Vallejo.

Shadowlude - YOu have a problem because you're considered to be within the Warriors home area. So, although you have CSN Sacramento, they cannot broadcast Kings games. It's a really confusing issue.

Hello? He's in VALLEJO. His games are being blocked out because he's closer to the Golden State Warriors and is considered to be within their coverage area. CSN doesn't have the right to broadcast Kings games outside of the general Sacramento area, especially within the coverage areas of other teams.

:D

Shadowlube - I'm not sure, but you might be able to see the rebroadcasts of the game. There was some discussion going on between the NBA and CSN about rebroadcast and how it was affected by team blackout restrictions.

Good luck.

^ I know i'm in warriors country but ever since the beginning of the season up til a week ago I was able to watch all of the games that CSN broadcasted. Now I can watch all the other college hoops and shows and even House Party Live until when the game gets on it turns black and says not available...i think its some BS way of making customers buy NBA League pass...I dont get it...>=(!!!!! I dont even like the warriors

Musta been a goof on DirecTV's part and you fell through the cracks. Maybe some audit occurred and they "fixed" it thus removing your access to the games that shouldn't have ever been there.

You could try calling them up and saying you've moved to Sacramento or something. :)

blah...i guess i was "lucky" oh well...thanks for the help guys...probably when i graduate i can get NBA league pass or move back to Sac...at least my gf wont get mad at me anymore for paying attention more on the game.

I feel your pain - I'm sort of in the same boat - the CSN channel is on my cable system, but there is still no signal, yet 3 miles away on Travis AFB, they get the games.

As someone who is in the Warriors territory but gets CSN-West, I've been monitoring this myself. I don't think I ever got the games live, but I did use to get the replays immediately after the game (on the same night). Those were then taken away (in the win against the Spurs  ), but have come back on one or two occasions. Now, I can usually get any replays shown the next day, but they don't always show the replay the next day. I will be recording tonight's Hawks game tomorrow afternoon, I think. Check and see if it is on then.

I think you should get the rebroadcasts [i have from warriors territory] late at night or the next day - bad hours but Tivo helps.
