I'm guessing he (or someone else) wrote these out in advance, because that statement is ignorant and highly inappropriate considering what's going on right now.

Ignorant and highly inappropriate?

Geez...

They're daily thoughts from a calendar, as I explained at the beginning of the thread. Of course they were written in advance. I received the calendar as a Christmas gift. Should I not post the daily thought if, for some reason Kinkade could not possibly have foreseen, the message isn't exactly apt?

:(

I'm a little hesitant to even post these right now, but here goes:

Tuesday, Sept. 6:

You are swimming against the tide - but toward the shore of serenity.

Wednesday, Sept. 7:

The beauty of nature is its own reward.

Again, please remember these thoughts are on a calendar which was printed long before the tragedy of Hurricane Katrina.

Sorry for giving you a hard time about the quotes, VF. It was just one of those moments that struck me funny. Hopefully there aren't any upcoming quotes about "weathering life's storms".

Actually, it is the small moments in the midst of chaos that help you keep your sanity when everything is spinnig out of control.
