This Sucks

Does anyone else think it sucks that in order to get tickets to the Laker game on 11/3 or the Heat game on 12/11 you need to but one of those game packages? That pretty much alienates the entire fanbase that is either in high school or college and cant afford the packages!

Single tickets are available today but you really have to buy fast and early because the bandwagoneers are a crafty set of people

I don't think it's a terrible idea. I'm hoping it'll keep some of the laker fans bandwagoners out of our building if they have to buy tix to another kings game as well or whatever.

For those of us who cant afford the packages it is a terrible idea. Also they are not selling single game tickets to either of the games.

If you decide to buy, call a tickdet agent. You can avoid the extra service charges that way.

I agree with requiring a package for the Laker game. I was there last year and you would have thought it was Staples, not Arco. The constant MVP chants for Kobe were nauseating. If they want to go that bad, make them buy tickets to a non-Laker game, too. I bet plenty will still buy tickets. More money for the team at the expense of Laker fans. Yay!

I totally agree ! Make those Faker Fans REALLY pony up to go to the game! Besides, single game tickets ARE available for a price (StubHub). But the Kings need to sell more tickets period. I dont think that any packaging deal they do is a bad thing as long as they are making enough money to stay in Sacramento. I know there are some of us here who cant afford to buy a package, but why not consider a different game then? ALL Kings games need fans to go out and root for the team. The FAKER game is just expensive, and with all the Faker Yellow it makes me sick to go anyway. I say buy a ticket when they play the Clippers, or better yet a ticket for a Golden State game! The Kings need the fans support, and if you cant afford to buy a ticket package to go see the Kings and the Fakers, then by all means get a ticket to a different game and go out and support the team! I LOVE going to Kings games, and I dont care if it is Preseason, The Fakers, or whoever as long as I am at the game cheering for the Kings! I am NOT going to the Kings Faker game. I could afford to, but I would rather go see 2 games of my choosing. My son and I can only afford to go to 3 or 4 games a year, so we are going to spread those games out and try to go out throughout the season and cheer for the team. I think the team is going to be more exciting as the season continues because our rookies will get better and better. I am certain that a game near the end of the season when the Kings may still be fighting for an 8th spot will be a lot of fun. But lets not let the ticket package deals keep us from going out and supporting our team! GO KINGS!

I can only afford to go to a few games, too. Especially when I treat my son and his family. I love to go to any game, because it is always a special occassion for me. For a long time, I couldn't afford to go at all. Some games are more popular with fans, but the team always needs fans. We used to fill it up for all games. I want that to happen again. It was hard to get tickets at all then, even when I was online right on the minute when single game tickets went on sale.

I agree with package requirements for big games. These games will sell out one way or another so it is important that they use them to maximize revenue and that they go to fans that will show up to root the team no matter who they play.

I agree with the good idea thing.... I've been to a couple Lakers/Kings Arco games and almost got in a fight every time... Make them pay if the wanna bandwagon!... sorry lower income folk, but the $10 seats are not gonna help keep things together. There are other games to hit and have fun. For the better of Sac fans lets clean up those watered down "I watch 2 games a year" and "I have no idea what else is going on in the league" big mouths....

Add me to the list of people who think that the package deal is a good idea. Even if you can't afford the ticket package, you could theoretically sell the tickets to the non-Laker game. Our ticket subforum could be a good place to try and sell them. :)

Hey, I've been grateful for $10 seats at times. In the good old days, somertimes those were the only tickets available. I've even been in the $10 sqaure painted on the floor "seats" and had a great time. Somtimes the poeple up there are the most fun to be around. :)

I always enjoyed the SRO seats at Arco. Just outta high school that was me quite often.

I'm also on board the ticket "plan". It was getting ridiculous. Hopefully this squashes that faker stuff.
