Digging through some files at work, and just realized that our firm did the original geotechnical study for a certain "sports recreation and corporate center" in the Natomas area. It was all planning level at the time, no specific location for the arena picked out or anything at that point. Still pretty cool!
Been missing some of the oldheads lately: Even JSin pops in, every now and again, but when's the last time anybody's heard from NME, 6th, scarlet_steph, Cafe1, Zaromas (aka Missing Sac), McSluggo, or any of those guys? Hell, I'd even settle for sloter coming to ***** me out, for old time's sake!

I know we need rain but it always makes me so lethargic.
And, oddly enough, rain invigorates me. And it makes me very glad for the simple reason I've grown very weary of smelling drift smoke and fearing the next fire will be in my part of the forest. It'll be nice to be able to take a break, and I know some volunteer firefighters who may actually be able to spend a night at home instead of manning the stations.
