Ugh... It probably makes sense for Jordynne Grace to lose to Tasha Steelz from a booking perspective, since the smart money is that Grace is probably WWE-bound and, since she's gone over literally everybody for almost two years, she should be putting people over on the way out. But there has never been a point in Tasha Steelz' career that I've ever gotten whatever it is that other people see in her. Every time she beats anybody, I just want to throw my remote.
Does Jesse even keep up with the current product? I feel like he's going to be learning the wrestler's names as they come out to the ring.
He can still talk but yeah I think his biggest skill was the old style with lots of improv and so while the heavy scripting of the modern era will benefit a guy who may not be up to speed on the current product, at that point you may as well just find a stand up who does a good Jesse impersonation to call the action (or whatever it is he'll be doing).

An internet rabbit hole led me to look up Charlotte's Wikipedia entry, and I'm reading the Personal Life section like, "38 years old and she's been married three times? Damn, she really is a Flair!"
It's like when AEW was so determined to have Jade lose the TBS title to Statlander, they put Jade's careeer in a holding pattern for a year. Except somehow worse, because nobody's currently injured in this feud.
But at least this time I actually like the wrestler who's been pre-ordained to win the blow-off, so... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The stupid thing is that they had the perfect opportunity to put things in a holding pattern with Rhea actually breaking her face but they decided to have her wrestle in a mask for some reason instead. If she had just shown back up at the Rumble or something no one would’ve complained.
I feel like they booked this show all wrong: you never have the main event be the actual Main Event on SNME.
The 5pm PST start was weird. I was at dinner with my son not realizing and scrubbing twitter for Heisman content. Give me the SNL replacement SNME. But at least I got to hear some Animotion.
