I tell you what, I don't care who gave the okay to say that on the air. I don't care if the final approval came from the CEO of TKO himself: if I was Maxxine and I didn't know that was coming beforehand, and didn't give my blessing in advance, Candice would have to see me, after the cameras went off.

They need to turn Candice 100% heel and give her a 100% evil witch-like gimmick. I legit want heel Candice right now. I might actually need heel Candice in my life.

You might be correct, BUT...
Even if we don't, the problem is that I don't see Candice flourishing with any other gimmick (especially any other "bad girl" gimmick).
Unless you beg to differ and can convince me otherwise...
I don't watch the weeklies so I just went to Kay Lee Ray's wikipedia page and it says Fyre and Dawn are a face team now? So I guess they could have good witches vs. bad witches? Then AEW WWE forbidden door triple threat against Julia Hart. lol.You might be correct, BUT...

Ticked off locker room veteran who’s had enough and decided to just start squashing the younger members of the roster seems like a good enough heel gimmick to me. more than Stone Cold (c’mon, you knew it was bound to happen once The Rock turned Corporate “Final Boss” heel) or Cena (dude is addicted to showing up to Mania), I would be absolutely shocked if Dustin showed up given the fact he just showed up on Dynamite last night.
If Dustin shows up at Mania, I'm going to be wondering what Tony got back in trade: Bayley shows up at All-In?
I have a friendquaintance who knows Tony from back in the tape trading days and swears he's not a moron who has nothing more than generational wealth going for him but I am having a lot of trouble seeing it.

I’m sure it’s just really unfortunate timing/TK was trying to hide these cuts behind Mania week, but the optics of this make it look like Tony got goaded into streamlining the roster/cutting a bunch of the random talent he’s been hoarding by CM Punk’s interview yesterday lol
There's no way AEW can come out looking good with cuts because they were supposed to be the anti-WWE.
