Maybe he'll surprise everyone and challenge Cody. And, if he doesn't, it's not like Gunther's title reign has been setting the world on fire.

They had Cody being particularly heel-ey at the end of the ladder match so I could see it. Maybe I’m just in shock because this was the first time the men’s rumble was better than the women’s one in like five years.
It being preordained for Charlotte took a lot of the fun out of it... There were so many women that could have been made by a win, and that's what they went with.

His matches against Bron were good. The match against Roman were pretty good too.

That’s not fair, there’s a couple of Uso Splashes and crowd work in there too.
Charlotte winning sucked, Jey is fine. Though if one of C&C was pre-ordained I much prefer the script was flipped.

The more I reflect on it, the more I’m okay with it.
I think Jey sucks. But damn if I’m not yelling at this company to strike while the iron is hot when you can catch lightning in a bottle. This dude has a Jeff Hardy like unseeable but undeniable connection with the crowd. Its special. I don’t get it. I think it’s stupid. But I’d be stupid myself not to admit it’s a special connection.
I just hope they use this to super-boost a new heel, preferably as soon as the night after WrestleMania.
Imagine this: Jey wins the title. He comes out to a massive celebration only to get killed by someone new and / or relatively unknown… think OBA FEMI.

They’re finally letting Jacob wrestle other guys on the roster to huge success. I would hate for him to immediately get drawn back into a Bloodline storyline
