The official "Wow, we really suck" thread

It's predictable and inevitable. After the abysmal performance tonight in Phoenix, it's only a matter of time before the threads about just how badly we suck appear.

I'm making it easy on everyone. Here it is...the OFFICIAL "Holy crap, do we suck!" thread. Additional threads in the same vein will be merged into this one. No use wasting good message board space to state the obvious any more than we already are.

I've seen donkey basketball games with better grasp of the fundamentals than what I've seen tonight - and that's by the donkeys.

Shame on every single one of them...the Kings, not the donkeys.
 
Enough Is Enough Geoff Petrie!!

This is getting rediculous. If Geoff dosent make a trade of some sort or something to spice this season up at least for the fans sake, I'm calling for a new GM. Its not even fun watching the kings play anymore. Thompson is honestly the ONLY reason I'm still watching them this year and I'm a die hard Kings fan.

We deserve better as fans.. this is just so sad.
 
I'll start the Kings players who suck who really resemble other players that sucked theme.

ahhh so does this thread cancel out my "enough is enough geoff petrie" thread? I hope not maybe the more negative threads towards the team the better.

1) GP should most definitely take responsibility for this situation

2) for a trade to happen - You have to have 2 sides willing to trade.
 
Well, that passed painful in the first quarter alone. After a little while, it wasn't even embarrassing. Just plain old sad. We are really, really bad. wow

If you're Kenny Natt....tell me you don't get yourself tossed to show someone that you give a crap.

Why are more negative threads better? It's we - THE FANS - who are here sharing our angst.

So, to answer your question, your post was merged into this one.

Some team will trade with the Kings and when that player or players goes to the new team, he/they will flourish. The Kings system is broken, if there is a system. The Kings have become Raider like in terms of performance and ownership. Very Sad.
 
didn't you all want a top draft pick, well now you are getting one. deal with it.

its not about a top draft pick. It's one thing to lose but losing this badly is just not a option. This team needs to stay competitive especially for the confidence of our young guys.
 
13 assists to 26 turnovers... If we had a REAL PG maybe this wouldn't happen.. That is why I am on the Ricky Rubio (if he declares) bandwagon.

Draft him, leave him in the game for 40 minutes a night, and make him the sole possessor and distributor of the ball and our TO problem will vanish.. Plus he will make Thompson, Martin, Garcia, and Hawes look a lot better than they do now. Bottom line if we draft any other position we are going to have the same problems that we do now. Without a good PG to distribute the ball we are going to run into the same issues.
 
I heard a caller into KHTK at bit earlier that made probably an obvious point that Kings have worst roster in the NBA - by far he said. I got to thinking that it's true. I mean the "competition," OKCity, Minnesota, Washington, LA Clippers, Memphis, Golden State, all would seem to have better overall talent. Especially younger and more productive talent.

To analyze briefly: I'd probably swap our roster straight up for Thunder's with Durant and Westbrook as dynamite pieces for immediate future. T-Wolves have star Al Jefferson and are really starting to get on a roll. Wizz still have three recent All-Stars even though Agent Zero still out injured. Clippers have a similar injury situation of late with Baron Davis but I think they're the one team I'd say is close to Kings in roster futility. Memphis has a potential big time star in OJ Mayo and a lot of interesting young talent - maybe third worst overall. Warriors with Stephen Jackson, Andris Beidrins, Monta Ellis, and some other parts make them superior to Kings IMO - maybe even on defense and that's shocking!
 
It sounds like I missed nothing new tonight! I'm beginning to think that the NBA League Pass was not a good purchase decision for me this season.

People seriously undervalued what he brought to the team.

They focused on his wackyness...But when it came gametime, he was the ONLY guy who brought it every game.

I knew it would be like this. Ron could will this team to victory. Kevin cant bring us wins. Dude cant even bring us rebounds or assists.

Moore is a stiff, Beno is a scrub, and Salmons is a cancer..Great signings Geoff!!!


GP: awful GM. He's been riding his luck in landing Webber. Dude needed to start digging us out seasons ago and now the hole is too deep. I called for blowing it up midway through the Muss season and people said I was crazy. Well...We coulda got a lot more for Bibby then Sheldon, thats for sure.

That being said...We're in for a couple years of high draft picks. I'm hoping we land a superstar before the team moves to Vegas.

I'm really confused to hear this from you VF21. Way back when Reggie was still here, you were the one that wanted to see the rookies play since we were going to lose with the vets anyway. Well, you got what you wanted. We won the last game tho barely, and we got whipped in this one. That's whats going to happen once Miller & Salmons are traded so get use to it.

Our team sucking ***** doesn't mean the guys on our team can't play. Miller would be great with a guy like Lebron, Kobe Wade, Roy ect. He might be the biggest marshmallow on D to ever exist but he is one of the best passing big men in the game today with a pretty decent jumpshot and the ability to knock down FT's. Salmons can create shots when he wants and has great man to man D. We have guys with trade value. Just because they're on a team that looks like it was put together Isiah Thomas doesn't mean they can't play. Thats just unfair for the players.

Huh?

This is the same roster that Reggie was using for most of his last 9 months in Sac, a few creaky old Hawks excepted. The coaching may be a bit worse, but we can still count on our vet Mikki to play 12.5 minutes and get 1 rebound, 1 assist and zero points.

Last night we sucked with 2 vets out, and eked out an overtime win against a very weak team. Tonight we had one of those vets back - who contributed 4 points on 2-7 shooting, 1 reb, 1 asst, 3 TO and 5 PF in 23.5 minutes- and lost by 48 to a much better team. We would have lost by 50+, but for the last minute threes chucked by Quincy freakin' Douby.

So what's the point here? We ARE getting whipped with or without the vets, but without the vets we might get better. With the vets we get nothing but older.

And at least we get to see JT play now. Without him, there's really no reason to watch at all.

I'll gladly watch us get whipped with JT instead of whipped with K-9 and Mikki.
 
As said before, this game really re-defines the term UGLY!!

Kids in a man's game.

But "kids" have a much more difficult time when a core starter as Miller is suddenly out. But not this much. No leader is the real problem.
