You could also point out that when he took over in Memphis, the team's core was already intact and knew all the offensive and defensive schemes.
Dave was just putting out an interesting factoid to create conversation. His follow up tweets indicated that he would be surprised if the Kings won 50 games.

Winning 50 games. Yeah, not going to happen. However, I don't think he would be surprised if their second half of the season is better than the first half, especially given the schedule.

In a way that is a good thing. Team is at a crossroads, we need to see if this team has it in them to make a run for 8th or if we should accelerate moves. January will test this team.

Sorry to say but the Kings are not going to the playoffs this year. Portland is better at every position except center and Plumlee is no scrub. They'll finish at least 5 games ahead of us. Does anyone really think a team with Garrett Temple as their second best player can actually make the playoffs?

Well, both Denver and New Orleans lost tonight, and Portland is down by 11 with 3 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.
This game is hell: I need Portland to lose, but I'm psychologically incapable of rooting for the gd lakers.
That was a bad result for us but, you know what? I can't bring myself to be but so upset about it.

Crap, I just checked the schedule and we have no more games against Portland.
Portland won the season series 2-1 against the Kings, which mean they have the tie breaker if we wind up tied with the Blazers for #8.
Something tells me that last loss to the injury plagued Blazers are going to screw us in the end.
