The next 7 games

Ok, our team has won 3 in a row. IMO, the next 7 games will determine whether the Kings will realistically be in the playoff hunt come April. I believe they could win 6 of the 7 (and would be ecstatic), but would be content if they went 5-2.

Anything less than 5-2 would be a disappointment and would set them back in their pursuit of the 8 seed. They aren't going to see an easier stretch of games (san Warriors) than this, especially with 5 at home and the 2 road games in CA.

@ Lakers -- winnable game they've just got to get **EDIT: WIN, 1-0
@ Warriors -- chaulk this up as an L, esp. considering what they did to the Dubs last time out **EDIT: WIN, 1-1
DENVER -- winnable game they've just got to get against a team currently in the #8 **EDIT: WIN, 2-1
CHARLOTTE -- winnable game against a team they just beat on the road
MINNESOTA -- winnable game against a team they've already beaten twice
BROOKLYN -- worst team in the league w/ only 9 wins
UTAH -- toughest game on the slate next to GSW, but they have split a pair already

If they can manage to get 6 of the 7, a 29-33 record would have them in good position to get to .500 by seasons end.

A 5-2 record would still have them looking ok at 28-34. But 4-3 wouldn't gain them much ground at all.

Let's cross our fingers.

I can't force myself to pick one outcome because #Kangs, so 5% - 3-4, 30% - 4-3, 55% - 5-2, 10% - 6-1.

I can't get away from the idea that we trip up against Charlotte. Therefore, I think Charlotte, GSW, and Utah are losses.

IMO, what should happen is 5-2. But we all know that once you start having faith in the team, things don't often go as you think they should.
So, with that said, I'm gonna set my expectations at 4-3 but wouldn't at all be shocked by 3-4.

If we are going to be genuine contender for that play off spot then we need to go at least 4-3 but preferably better than that.

The problem is that we are so unpredictable and can literally get blown out off the court by Lakers and then beat GSW the next game.

That Charlotte game is one of those weird 2pm games where I could see us coming out sleepwalking. Hope not because I'll be at that game.

Well, they got another one. So far, so good at 2-1.

Even with no Boogie and several new players learning the system, this is the easiest stretch of games they'll see. I still think they can go 5-2.
