The Kings Will Still Make the Playoffs

At this point were are 13 games over .500 with 27 games to play. I believe 45 wins gets in. We need to win 12 out of the next 27 to make the playoffs. We need to finish out the year at a .444 clip. Doable!

It remains to be seen how the Kings' style will change with the new players in the lineup. They played well against the Mavs in an uptempo game last night, but the Mavs were also missing several players(Stackhouse, Dampier, Van Horn). How quickly the new players are assimilated will dictate whether the team is clinging to a playoff spot or positioning themselves in the middle slots.

i think the mavericks would be the best team for us to play in the playoffs because of our constant battle w/them... we know their type of basketball and we know how to beat it...what else could u ask for? The mav's is who i want to play in the playoffs no matter how hot they are right now

I think we looked good. Yes, we had turnovers, and they had some good offensive boards, but we only had 3 on the bench. Our boys were tired early but all in all I think last night was a great game and it shows that we can contend.

This team can still contend and will always contend, they will always be in the playoff race and I would be surprised to see them miss the playoffs a la Minnesota (how the hell did the Clippers have them under 22-8??). But right now I don't see how they have any way to even reach the WCF anymore. I hope to be proved wrong.

if thomas and skinner can grab some boards we'll be cool... i saw mavs players just taking the ball from darius and brad.... they cant hold on to the ball..... we have enough scorers... if thomas or skinner can at least hit their open jumpers... we are just as good if not better than the mavs... the sonics and suns dont bother me if those 2 can rebound... we can score just as much as the suns and sonics so as long as we dont give up 20 f'n offensive rebounds... we'll be fine.... but san antonio will kill us....
