They literally have a better record at this point in the season than they did last year despite having way more injuries. This is what I've been trying to say. Something is very, very off with this team and this has been evident for the past 20-30 games.
If we are gonna lose this game I want it to be by an embarrassingly large margin.

Rotations are wack. Malik played 18 min straight. How is that a good idea?
Huerter hits 3 3's, then sits forever. HB sits forever.
Domas' dub-dub streak at some risk.
They looked worse in Detroit. Then they came out and dropped an a-whoopin on the pistons.
No way mate ... We are winning that woth double margin ...
Coach will wake them up now , no worries
Well your best player can’t have 5 points at half time. You can’t miss your free throws. Our offense is three, fade away mid range shots from Monk and bully ball Sabonis. Detroit might cool off a bit from three but we are getting killed when someone besides Sabonis guards Duren and we have no answer for Sasser.
You're right. Nothing negative is allowed to be said because our record is better than last year. I'll try to not be perceptive. They literally have a better record at this point in the season than they did last year despite having way more injuries.
I mean, when you say “something is very off with the team” that would generally imply them being way worse than last season and not generally on an upward trajectory compared to last season. You're right. Alex Len can guard Duren. There needs to be a change in strategy coming out of the half.
Deaaron turns it off way too often. I understand it’s who he is and we’ve seen it every year, but it’s frustrating as hell when you see teams like the Heat who are all effort all the time

We basically had the lead until there was 1:48 left in the second. Pistons road some hot shooting and missed free throws from us. It’s going to be really important to come out strong in the first 10 minutes of this half. Turn the momentum

What you described, plus half heartedly going for a dunk and proceeding to miss it badly, and then be totally short on his ft attempts… that to me of turning it off and not putting in your best effortI would not call that "turning it off." In the first two minutes of the game, when Fox turned it over, it was clear he looked to be showboating, not playing careful basketball. It was the wrong attitude for a game like this against the worst team in the league. And then he missed all four free throws.
